Hi, I work at a popular fast food chain that has an app where you can earn points, get coupons, etc. I would say about 50-60% of people who come through use the app when they order, but a lot of the time, here's how it goes in our drive thru:
"Hi, how can I help you?"
"My code is 8614."
Or
"Hi, how can I help you?"
"Mumbles"
"I'm sorry?"
"8614!"
I find that people give their code for the app unprompted, and while I understand that taking their codes is part of my job, I can't help but be put off when a customer skips "hello" and responds as if we've been replaced by an AI (we haven't - not yet, anyway). Maybe it's something minor, but I wanted to hear more opinions on it!

2024.11.28 20:44 Independent_3 A Browning High Power clone of the Girsan variety or CZ P-09 Nocturne C?
Hi I've been rethinking modern pistol choices and instead of the XDm Elite vs CZ P-09 Nocturne C. It will be the Girsan MC P35 PI OPS Lightweight, a shorter barreled (3.88" vs 5" of the originals) modernized (Extended beaver tail, rounded Hammer, picatinny rail on the dust cover and the slid is optics ready of the Holsun K foot print variety), Browning High Power clone.
The biggest advantage of the CZ is that it's out of the box a decocker Double/Single action pistol, which in my opinion, is appendix safe. Where as the Girsan is a single action only design. Which would by my subjective criteria would preclude appendix carry. However the Girsan being a High Power clone, can utilize most pre-existing High Power parts, Magazines and Holsters. But most importantly it's possible to get a threaded barrel for it, via Bar-sto. Where as threaded barrels for P-07/09 Nocturne C are hard to find and Primary Machine is sold out with a unknown date of being back in stock.
Do my points about Girsans High Power clone out weight the CZ or should I stick with the CZ?

Both are on Black Friday, which one. I hear agilite is shit quality… anyone know where the magnetix is made? I love the quality of DM I own the MEPC, but also the lead times. Magnetix is only a little more but what do the people prefer? I understand the over the whole belt attachment via one wrap is more secure then external molle. I will say the Magnetix looks cooler and isn’t that all that matters according to garand thumb?
