Arguing with my FA about going 3 fund portfolio from a bucket of American funds. I don't currently pay an AUM due to him being a family member, but haven't moved on yet due to the family aspect.
He quoted to me that Bogle was an American fund investor and I just had to see if there was any truth to that quote.
I'll make the switch for my brokerage account (VTI is the plan) (already there with the 401k), but had to ask the sub.

I want to get a Pixel 9 Pro XL, but since I've used a Pixel 8 for a few weeks, and it did overheat. The left aluminium side got almost uncomfortably hot on various occasions with a room temperature of about 18C°/65F°, and since here we easily have temperature above 30C°/86F°, I decided to return it because I thought that if it overheats in mild weather, it will catch fire during summer.
Based on the reviews and the users' opinions online it looks like they overheat a lot less, but they still do, and some say no while others say it does. So, what has been your experience so far? Does it overheat? Thank you in advance.

Medium-term lurker, new poster.
Some quick background:
Played MW2 as a kid, and was enamored but super terrible. Played Mech Assault on Xbox, and I just love the 'mechs tbh. I've had MW5 in my Steam library for a while and then a couple of months ago started playing on my Steam Deck and PC, vanilla only.
88 hours later I finished the campaign. Real good time. Ended up gravitating towards dual gauss with low-aim assist on for those sweet, sweet headshots at medium and close range.

So, I'm going to get the 4-pack of DLC's because it's got HotIC up through Rasalhague (sp?) for $23.76. My question is thus:
Are the Dragon's Gambit and Solaris Showdown worth the extra $5.99 each? Not sure of gameplay enhancements, if any. In the end ~$12.00 isn't much, but I can get a couple other decent games inside that price point. Thanks, Mechwarriors!

I’m somewhere on ace/demi specter, it’s a rare thing for me to develop sexual attraction to someone. I wouldn’t label myself as a stone femme, but showing sincere passion and desire when giving back, historically wasn’t my strongest forte. I know that it’s not everyone’s cup of tea and doesn’t make for healthy romance and that’s why I’m not really set on it. I would like to have more close friends though. If we do fall in love some day I believe the rest will come too, and if not – no one said soulmates have to be romantic!
More about me: • I’m 5.2, monogamous, conventionally pretty, think basic Slavic chic, long hair, nails and all. Not allergic to cat hair. • maybe an avid reader, who will give me recs or maaaybe even read me some of their favorite stuff in voicechat! • want to yap about your life and infodump all about your special interests, maybe listen to me do the same • do not have severe confidence issues or dysphoria (idk how to help with these) • not a particular enjoyer of heavy triggering arthouse films/Dostoyevsky/ similar depressing things. I can appreciate them but life is crap enough, so I don’t want our time to build on topics that are too heavy • if you’d ever want to meet offline, you’d have to come to my neck of the woods probably or meet at a country that lets me in (e.g., Turkey)
