2024.11.28 20:34 Trelos_Papas Roland FP10 sounds replaced/rearranged??
One year ago I bought a Roland FP10 for my daughter, brand new, as she was starting piano lessons. Today I sit on it to play a bit and I saw that most sounds are either changed or rearranged! For example, there is no vibraphone or Harpsi 2, Organs moved to the left, there is only Strings 1 moved to the left, but now it has a nylon guitar, a choir and a bass+cymbal sound!! We never connected the instrument to a computer. I also tried factory reset. Otherwise the instrument plays perfectly fine. I attach a youtube video I recorded. I have some financial knowledge from investing in the stock market (large/mid/small cap stocks mostly) and ever since I was 21 I wanted to pursue a career in finance. Unfortunately for me, my high school grades were bad and I went to university to study sound engineering.
I’ve applied to finance apprenticeship schemes as I want to continuously learn and take that additional knowledge on board into a professional job where I can climb the ladder in, but unfortunately as I am 26, they’re looking for school leavers for these types of things.
I feel like I’m stuck - too old for apprenticeships and no finance degree. I can gain more knowledge on my own but not even sure where to begin. I like the idea of AWM as I feel I can provide good relationships with clients, but tbh I’d even start as a janitor and work my way up lol. Any advice for me to start a career in finance? UK based

I did a 12 marker, English language paper 2 question 3 and I have no idea if this is good. I finished it on time, finally, and just want to check the quality
Here it is:
The writer describes the night shift as being horrible and excruciating. He used a hyperbole, expressing that the night shift “made hell look like Disneyland”. This gives the reader an insight to the harsh realities of the night shift. Specifically, the juxtaposition between “hell” and “Disneyland” exaggerated the terrible conditions the night shift leaves him in, and shows the readers, who don’t associate saving people’s lives with hell, how truly painful it was.
The writer also describes the night shift as being unimaginable. The description “unrelenting nightmare” created the idea that the night shift is a merciless predator, which the doctors are prey to. Furthermore, the use of the noun “nightmare” suggests that the horrors of the night shift are beyond reality.
The writer also uses punctuation to show his unhappiness. He justifies the night shift by saying “but I was a doctor…”, which could be interpreted as the night shift being a routine to him. However, the use of ellipses “…” suggests that there is more to the story and perhaps that he detests his career choice.

Hello I 27F work in a cell culture lab and was trying to grow fish cells but after they start growing, they die after few days. Both me and my supervisor are currently trying to find a solution by changing the media supplements and also the conc. Of antibiotics but not sure what exactly is happening. The incubator so far runs ok and other organisms grow well. Then what's the matter with fish cells?
