 | With the whole discourse lately happening on this sub about the "P" word, one point from other users i often stumble upon is about how older units aren't interesting to pull anymore, since they're no longer as useful as they were on their time. I also saw some comments and a whole post about buffing older characters and whatnot. That had let me thinking about how these character's kits work, how they were intended to work on release and how well are they able to do their very work nowadays. So i thought about a rather fun exercise on HSR character design: i asked myself what changes would be needed to make older characters have a better time on completing modern and content? So i began with Seele, the OG Limited Character. Imagine you have the power to change something about Seele's kit (or multiple, idk, i'm not a cop). What would you do to give her a better gameplay experience? Would you add a QoL feature to a Trace? Would you change something about her Eidolons? Or simply increase the base character's output? I'd especially appreciate insights from any Seele mains out there. Leaving my ideas @ the comments. What should I do?
Basically 2 years ago, my boyfriend was staying over at my house and he tried to put his hand into my pants when I was asleep but I ended waking up. He was only young and he apologised a lot, since then he has grown a lot as a person. He is very kind and he is an amazing person now and we’re still together. Unfortunately for different reasons I have been thinking about breaking up with him, sometimes I think someone I meant to be with for the rest of my life wouldn’t do something like this to me, so maybe It’s what’s right. But i’m worried i’ll regret it because part of me still has a lot of love for him but part of me doesn’t feel like I’m in this relationship anymore. We don’t talk much anymore and I haven’t seen him since halloween, but he keeps saying such nice things to me and it’s confusing me. I really don’t want to hurt his feelings and idk how i feel

2024.11.28 21:49 Optimal_Leek_3668 Aquascape with underground tunnel system
So I am planning to make an aquascape with its own tunnel system. The bottom 1/3 of the aquarium will be underground with its own tunnels. The top 2/3 will be overground. I will probably have to make the construction with clay or something. The aquarium will have to be pretty tall and narrow for this project to work out. I want it to be an overgrown jungle-like wibe where the atmosphere changes at the different heights.
The plan:
* Water surface: Tall plants and roots reach all the way from the ground to the water surface. Here the light is very bright.
* Mid section: The light shining through the plant overhang is limited. It is a locked-in atmosphere in a dense forest of plants and roots. We find neon-tetra and other fish in this dark green forest.
Ground surface: Short plants in front, and taller plants in the back. A sinkhole is forming the start of the cave-system. A big root sticks up from inside the cave with smaller branches hanging over the sinkhole covering it making only a little bit of light shine through, making the bottom of the sinkhole half-dark.
Underground caves: From the bottom of the sinkhole, a cave starts heading forward and slowly deeper. As the sinkhole only had some branches and plants covering the top, the cave has now a solid roof of rock making it much darker and a little scary. The sinkhole and caves are all touching the front glass of the aquarium, making it possible to observe everything happening in there. The narrow cave ends up at the bottom of the tank in a bigger room which will probably be the home to my Ancistrus.
Overall: I will try to choose fish that will fill out all the different levels of the aquarium. Maybe some Kuhlii-eels will explore the cave as well. They also have very jungle-like colors. Neon-tetra will be a nice contrast to the darkish-green forest. Maybe some shrimps and other fish I don't know yet.
My only concern is that the water in the cave will remain still without circulating through the filter, making the caves unlivable. Maybe I can add 2 different openings making the water flow easier through.

The working class has never had it's day and never will. The vast majority of humanity have and - it seems - always will slave away at useless toil and go to death unnoticed. Not out of intelligence or skill, passion, love, determination - though, these are skills not shared by the vast majority of people - but because the slow march of time carries events, epochs, eras, ideas and ideologies onwards with little human control. If you were born poor, you will be condemned to servitude and struggle, even if you can nowadays afford the luxury of carrying your own chains. There is very precious little that any group of people have achieved without the luck of time and of the event, and if so, the struggle is forgotten in the next generation. Technology & Mass-communication has reduced the world to blithering moronic feedback loops, and social projects can only ever exist in spite of the relentless imperialist machines and systems that truly dominate the direction that humanity "follows". Serious, empathic approaches to change almost any element of society are met with outright scorn, for any notion of 're-distributive' politics is stamped "communism/socialism". It is evident now that the first fight one might have is not convincing people of their ignorance but of their callousness. But, what do you expect of a history of a world where the majority of people were below what in modernity we call the poverty line and as a direct result had the worst opportunity for pre-frontal cortex development?
The history of humanity is awesome, with its art, culture, religions, philsophies, music, literature, poetry, rituals, even its history of evil, warfare and barbarism - but from a vaguely clear perspective, there is little to be hopeful or optimistic for - unless there is a radical change of sorts, but off the back of every revolution that occured - which some of the biggest most likely never even being noticed - the modern world still developed as it has.
It is hard not to be a pessimist, or a nihilist, because almost a cursory glimpse behind the veil of appearance might lead you to a similar conclusion, but I would still rather try to see and live in the world without illusion.

I already know the best place to find an answer would be through the wildlife department, but i’ve searched and can’t find anything mentioning my specific scenario
Im deer hunting and I can see some sort of hawk through the woods about 100 yards. I know it is illegal to shoot them and I have no thoughts of even doing so. However, if I were to take a picture through my scope to share with family members in town for Thanksgiving, does that fall under “endangering” them or something that might warrant a visit from the game warden? This might be an obvious, dumb question. I just want to make sure I’m not breaking any rules. Thanks
