2024.11.28 21:41 Redkail Do wipe operations also wipe reallocated sectors?
So, a couple months ago one of my HDDs reported a lot of reallocated sectors, I used nwipe to zero-one-random pass it with the intent of RMA it. But a redditor in another post I made said that reallocated sectors aren't touched with a wipe operation.
Does a secure erase erases them? If so, what's the best approach to secure erase an hdd on Linux?

I have this glitching and black borders all around the screen which can be seen here . So just to try... if its the console or just the RGB signal (which would mean the mod board right? ) I used my OEM Scart cable which i know has crappy quality but it was just for testing. I run both wires into my Retrotink 5x. You can see the result of the test here. So since the glitching is gone and theres no trace of any black borders can i say for sure its the modchip? In der achten und neuten Klasse wurde ich wegen meinem Haarausfall gemobbt. Ich habe ein genetisch bedingten Haarausfall, das jedoch krankheitsbedingt durch die Einnahme eines Medikaments und Vitaminmangel verstärkt wurde. Dadurch habe ich schon in sehr jungem Alter viele Haare an der Front verloren und sah etwa wie mitte 40 aus während alle einen schönen Undercut mit Übergang haben der nach vorne steht usw.
Ich bin aktuell in der zehnten Klasse (Realschulle) und wurde in eine kleine Gruppe eingeteilt mit einem der mich ständig gemobbt hat. Die anderen waren meistens nur Mitläufer. Der ganze Anlauf ging immer von ihm aus. Das Mobbing hat sich in der zehnten Klasse begrenzt gehalten, bzw. ist kaum noch vorgekommen, jedoch habe ich natürlich immer noch sehr schlechte und schwere Erinnerungen an die ganzen 2,5 Jahre davor.
Schulich bin ich eher mittelmäßig unterwegs jedoch in dem Fach sehr weit vorne. Der Mobber ist äußert schlecht. Als ich zugeteilt wurde habe ich mich direkt geweigert mit der Person zu arbeiten. Dafür habe ich am ersten Tag eine Mitteilung erhalten. Am zweiten Tag habe ich dafür dann einen Verweis erhalten. Als Kontext, der Schüler hat in den 2,5 Jahren davor nicht ein mal eine Mitteilung für das Mobbing erhalten, obwohl dies sogar vor der Lehrerin stattgefunden hat und es Beschwerden meiner Eltern gab.
Wichtig: das erneute Würfeln der Gruppe will die Lehrerin nicht machen weil keiner mit ihm freiwillig Zusammenarbeiten möchte.
Das Mobbing hat jetzt wieder zugenommen ich komme jedoch damit klar. Ich bin mit dem Alter standfester geworden.
Mein Vater hat mir jetzt die Wahl gelassen:
- Ich reiß mich zusammen und verkneif es mir einfach
- Mein Vater geht mit allen möglichen Mitteln gegen die Lehrkraft und Schulverwaltung vor, sei es rechtlich, durch lokale Nachrichten oder was auch immer.
Die Frage ist jedoch, BIDA wenn ich nicht Zusammenarbeiten möchte wegen der Vorgeschichte?

I would categorize myself as “spiritual”, as in went through some sort of awakening and believe that I am a soul having a human experience. I believe in spirits and spirit guides and soul contracts. Spend time healing myself with different modalities. Although I’m quite grounded in 3D and live within a lot of societal norms.
My partner is as “spiritual” as they come. Is an energy worker, serves plant medicine and spends a lot of time in other realms. He does not plan for the future or worry about money in any sort of way, follows and trusts guidance from spirit.
Our relationship has been great.. sometimes though! But we both appreciate the growth based on our spiritual natures. We have a shared vision.. our opposites seemed to compliment each other to help us accomplish more… or so I thought?
Recently he told me he was being guided to follow a spiritual path entirely. Not sure that his mission will allow him time or space for a partner. He wants to travel and do grid work and wants someone who can do that with him too… which was part of the shared vision, only I’m still opening up my abilities and am in the first year of launching a business that I hope will give me the financial freedom to travel with passive income in the future.
So I’m not sure if he’s just having a tough moment questioning his path.. or if he really needs a spiritual equal and we are quite doomed? We have been focused a lot on my business lately as it’s leading up to Christmas.. so I’m wondering if that’s getting to him or if I’m really just not enough for him. We are in the process of talking about it but I am quite emotional as we thought we were each others’ person and his change of tune is crushing me.
TLDR all the super open light workers out there, does dating only work with people who share the same abilities and life purpose? Has your guidance had you forego romantic love (or other prior commitments) to fulfill your mission?

This barely has to do with swimming but I can’t find any other sub to ask this in.
Long story short my community does a mile run before the Christmas parade and I did it in a speedo; some people were saying I was over the top but some found it hilarious and some grandma even shouted “that’s hot”- but I feel kinda guilty about it.
