I am an elementary teacher, and one of my third grade students is autistic. She is also an English learner at the intermediate level for speaking and listening skills. This year, she has begun addressing some students of color in our school as "Blackie." She also uses this term as she points out characters in books. Our school has a clear equity policy, and school staff are consistent in calling out this name calling each time it happens. The student can identify her behavior as racist, yet she continues to use it because she finds it funny. Our school occupational therapist theorizes that while the student understands that racism is unkind, she continues with the behavior because she finds it funny--she is unable to take the perspective of the other students. I appreciate any insights.

Hi, I've found that creating a Windows 11 install USB with build 24H2 interfers with the way I connect to a shared computer on the network. It works fine previously when my USB was running 23H2, but no longer after updating it.
How to I revert to an older build of Windows 11 for my install USB? Windows Media Creation Tool only installs the latest build.
Alternatively, if anyone knows why 24H2 is causing problems with connecting to a shared computer and knows of a relatively easy fix with a batch file or something, that would work too.

2024.11.28 21:40 Aaaa172 Need help understanding the key differences between the Dinamica Plus and the Magnifica Plus
Hey all so I'm deep in the De'longhi research hole and looking to buy a good first superautomatic in Canada. I've narrowed down my final choice between the Dinamica Plus or the Magnifica Plus. The problem is, I can't really tell what the differences are between these two machines. The innards are presumably very similar, they both have 7 grind settings, and both do the hot milk frothing. The Dinamica Plus is currently on sale at $1300 CAD and the Magnifica Plus is not on sale but costs $1400 CAD.
The only difference I've been able to figure out is that the Dinamica has 3 user profiles and the Magnifica only has 2. Doesn't help that the Magnifica Plus has no technical data on the Canadian De'longhi website.
Am I missing something? I don't seem to understand why these two machines have such wildly different price points when not on sale since they seem so similar outside of the aesthetics.
Does anyone have any guidance? I'd hate to buy a Dinamica now and then have it be discontinued and completely replaced with the Magnifica Plus, but I'm not sure that matters either. To throw another wrench in the works, my ideal would probably be the Rivelia, but there still seems to be no indication when, if ever, it's coming to North America. If anyone has heard something about an imminent Rivelia release please let me know as I'll be happy to wait a bit for that machine.
