My girlfriend is alone for thanksgiving because I wanted to invite my best friend/roommate to join us
i (f22) have been dating A (f22) for over two years now. we have been planning to spend thanksgiving together this past week- she offered to come to nyc and leave her family to be with me since i cant visit mine (my fam is not a bus ride away but 5 hr flight). so we had thay plan
wednesday night (day before today) my roommate/best friend (of 17 years who recently moved in with me) asks to join us bc she doesnt want to be alone and has nobody here since she just moved. i call my girlfriend to let her know this and to sleep on if she wants to come over to mine instead or if we can go to hers (she initially rejected going to my apartment when i previously offered we spend it w my roommates)
today my gf tells me she doesnt want company st her house. we get in an argument and she rejects every offeinvite i bring (i come to you she comes later, i come first and later she can come to yours, ill lyft you there and back etc) she refused and now is alone and ive spent the day mostly super sad with my best friend (who was shocked that instead of having her there she opted out of the whole day)
now shes posting sad stuff on her spam story as well as earlier telling me i dont care shes alone and its my fault- when i offered her an invite and suggested alternatives? i dont know.
my roommates both are telling me this is insane and a tipping point/a break up is necessary since she doesnt care about my friends. i just feel so awful and like im doing something wrong. was she justified? am i the crazy one in this or is it best to call this relationship off. i tried to explain its a holiday and leaving her alone would be wrong but she kept saying my friends arent her friends and she doesnt want anybody over. i dont know what to do and im so fucking sad lol. i cant help but wonder if its my fault for springing it on her last minute- but thats when i found out. now shes home alone and i just feel super awful despite everyone telling me i shouldnt. AITAH?

Visiting the family back in northeast metro Atlanta for the holidays. Any recommendations for courses that are a must around the area? I live in Austin now and have really enjoyed throwing at Roy G, Circle C, East Metro and Mary Moore Searight.
I threw the longs at Oregon Park this morning with my brother, pretty boring course but I’m definitely thankful it exists so close to home :). Planning to throw Pekerson Park on Saturday with a friend. My Friday is wide open as well as Saturday til the evening.

I'm about to finish university and majored in something that I genuinely enjoy (GIS), but when I search for jobs related to it, almost all of them require a driver's license and acceptable driving record because there's usually fieldwork involved. I can't drive due to vision loss, but I don't want to hurt my chances of getting/staying hired by disclosing it. And to be honest, I can't guarantee reliable transportation either, unless I get lucky and find an apartment within biking distance of work, find a reliable public transit route, or earn enough to afford taking an Uber each day. The prospect of having to figure that out in case I get hired at all is daunting and makes me hesitate to even apply. I don't want to restrict myself to remote jobs, especially this early in my career. Are there careers I could pivot to where I don't have to worry about being unable to drive, or am I just going to have to hide the fact?

A nice moment in Chapter 4. You catch Tilly, Hosea, and Lenny eating dinner and talking. Hosea tells Lenny that he was sorry about Jenny, a few lines about Lenny being sweet on her, then Tilly says that she went back and put flowers on her grave.
Tilly says that she wants to be covered in roses when she's buried. Then Hosea looks to Lenny and says he just wants to be buried next to friends. Lenny echos this, looking at Hosea. 😭😭
Hosea asks Arthur, and Big Boi says he doesn't really care about it, but then says this. 😭😭😭
Chapter 4 might be my new favorite. It's a wild Rollercoaster of emotions, and It's when the game really picks up the pace in my play through.

Application Submitted - 15th November 2024 Biometric Appt - 19th November 2024 ECO Email - 25th November 2024 Visa Success Email - 27th November 2024 - 11PM UK time
So happy it was very quick! But unfortunately he has to wait until 25th December to enter UK . I think this is the date the solicitor put into the application at the start.
Would have been better to put a date, possible 5 days after application as you would have 90 days to enter anyway.
Hope this gives some reassurance or help to someone! :)
