First time posting on here so my bad if I get anything wrong, but my appeal has just been rejected about the decision given at my medical and I’m in a tough situation. I failed for having a ‘significant bunion/hallux valgus deformity affecting the toe, which was noted to sit in a position overlapping the adjoining toe’. Looking at it, you can see it’s different to the other toe but I believe it’s not ‘overlapping’ more just about touching it. The letter says that because it’s ’over-riding’ I ‘may be prone to foreseeable issues like arthritis’ and it ‘could cause discomfort with military footwear in the long term’. I’m 19 and it’s never caused me issues ever and I’ve played football and other sports all my life. I’m now unsure about taking the gamble and seeing if I get my doctor to either confirm or deny that it’s ’overlapping’ or ‘over-riding’ and if they don’t think it is, then get that down in a letter. However in the JSP 950 it mentions being referred to the single-Service Occupational Physician if there is no over-ridding and I wondered, IF the doctor’s letter says they don’t think it’s overlapping, then could I send that back to them and it might give me a chance of meeting the physician and have a small chance of being deemed fit or is it already a little too late and should call it a day. I know that it’s a pretty niche question/subject but any help or advice would be appreciated as I just feel stuck.

We've been friends for a couple years, had a couple nights of flirting and confessing our feelings, decided to not pursue anything since they are still friends with their ex, I wasn't comfortable with that [her ex, I, etc. all have mutuals but I cut some of them off].
I really need to move on, I can't pine and wait, it's not fair on myself, but we both want to stay friends. What's the best way to go about doing all this?

2024.11.29 00:51 Dry-Road2580 Is it possible to get my PR decision faster by moving to Sapporo or Sendai?
I'm here on the HSFP visa for the past 11 months, and my job is remote within Japan (as in I have to be geographically located in Japan, but no office attendance needed). I have the 80 points needed for PR in 1 year.
The Tokyo Immigration bureau is taking up to 15 months on average to process PR applications. I want to get my PR as fast as possible. Coincidentally, I've also been looking to move to a smaller city for a few months to experience that pace of life, ideally Sapporo cause I can ski.
I did see somewhere that outside of Tokyo and Osaka the bureaus of immigration work fast since they barely have a backlog. If I were to move to and register in Sapporo and apply for PR at the bureau there, wouldn't I be able to get it in just 3-4 months?

2024.11.29 00:50 electronictoilet Therapist cancelled on me this week so I cancelled all my future appointments with her.
I recently started going to therapy for multiple issues including BPD, and I was against it at first but then it became really helpful and I started looking forward to it every week. I saw her once a week for three weeks in a row, and then she couldn’t get me in her schedule again for a month. I was supposed to have an appointment yesterday but she called to cancel an hour before because she went home sick.
It completely sent me into a spiral, I had been anxiously looking forward to it for weeks as I had had multiple intense depressive episodes in the weeks leading up to it and with thanksgiving here which I always spend alone, I was really relying on having that appointment to make it through the week. So I was just devastated basically and I started crying and freaking out at work. That led me to hatred and then I just decided that I don’t want to go back anymore if she can’t consistently treat me. My next appointment would have been in two weeks (she cancelled my appointment for next week also) and I finally was able to get on her weekly schedule but I just cancelled all my appointments for the next two months because I was so angry and hurt. It just feels pointless if I can’t regularly see someone even though I was starting to really like it. It just feels like an extreme rejection and like even though I’m trying to fix my problems it’s just working against me still.
And I know that it’s selfish to expect her to not go home from her job when she’s sick, that’s extremely reasonable and I’d do the same if I was sick. but man it just feels so bad when I have just been struggling so badly since I last saw her and I’ve been counting down the days until this appointment and now just being alone today feels so much worse.
I put the advice flair on but I don’t really even know what I want from this, I guess venting mostly but advice would help. Again I’m very aware that it’s just her job and she can’t help the logistical issues that we have had but it still feels just as bad.
I guess the question/point of this is, should I try to get back on the schedule and look past this or try to find someone else or just give up? I live in a small town so the facility that she works at is pretty much my only option, I could drive to the town over but during the work week that becomes difficult. I just feel so defeated :( any kind words appreciated.

It's so bland and lame. It feels more like an SCP article than anything else. I like the Jurassic Park one more; even that one is super weak imo.
It doesn't come close to Local 58, Backrooms, Mandella Catalogue, or Midwest Angelica.
I'll give it a 4/10.
