2024.11.29 00:58 Top_Manager_1406 MRSA found in urine culture during pregnancy. in need of support
i (21F) had a little workup done for a UTI a couple days ago which included a urine culture. the results of that came back today and show MRSA.
I'm in the hospital as of this morning and scared out of my mind. did my own research (which never helps) and read some pretty nasty things about this infection, and i'm a bit more worried as i am pregnant (about 7 weeks) meaning my options for treatment are narrowed down
i'm otherwise healthy. my symptoms include fatigue and nausea, but i attribute those wholly to the pregnancy. i had a bit of a headache too but this was from a lack of hydration. water and a bit of food helped to alleviate the nausea as well
i'll know more soon enough, but i really would like some support and—reassurance, if possible—during this time.

I apologize for the poor format as I am on mobile.
For some context, I(F20), still live at home with my family. Last year I had met an amazing guy(M29) who treats me like gold. Over the course of the year, after me and him had gotten together, I have continuously tried to bring it up to my mother.(F40).
I understand her concern, and have even offered her to speak with him on multiple occasions to which she just refused.
When brought up, the discussion basically went that her and my father both agreed they would rather it be at a time when my father is home. Due to work, my father is away for months at a time.
I happily agreed with her and found out the next time my father will be home which will be 13 December.
I understand I am an adult, however with the holiday season approaching so quickly, I want to avoid any turmoil.
I will be staying in an Airbnb for the two weeks that he is here, that is possibly 10 minutes away from where I live and plan on making frequent visits back home.
However, I’m incredibly worried about bringing up his arrival to her.
Coming from a parent, how should I go about bringing this up to her with as minimal turmoil as possible?
I would also like to know how you would feel, as a parent, whose child is in the same situation as me?

2024.11.29 00:58 Souley-- Random computer crashing
Since I got my 3060 in 2022, it has been freezing (the screen freezes, with audio cutting out and my screen not being able to move, unless I restart my computer), I have tried so many troubleshoots including downloading the recent graphics drivers, reinstalling windows, cleaning my pc, I’ve had 2 professionals and countless friends try to help me out and they haven’t identified a problem, this happens randomly, sometimes 5 minutes after boot and sometimes not for a day. I’ve realised if I am fullscreened on a steam game like rust or call of duty, I don’t experience freezing, I only experience it on low end steam games and my browser, discord, Roblox and when I have left my computer, I keep it in a good space so it doesn’t overheat, but this also affects my boot time, my windows is pretty screwed so it can’t update. So when it freezes and I have to reboot I can be waiting up to 15 minutes for it to not update (Freezing started before I screwed my windows lol.) so I genuinely don’t know, I’ve realised if I put my camera on via discord call instead of me crashing every 15 minutes it’s once a hour or so. Very strange and unpredictable patterns.

Hi, so i found these 2 deals, the 7590ax is 210 Euros while the 7530ax and the 1200ax repeater is 200 Euros.
My setup is currently a fritzbox 4040 connected to isp fiber modem at 300-ish Mbps with plans on going 1Gbps in a couple months. I have also fritzbox 1750e repeaters connected.
I have about 3 TVs, 3 PCs, 2 Laptops, 1 DVR with 8 cctv cameras ,1 raspberry pi NAS and about 8 phones. out of all these devices at least 50% are on 24/7, also more phones connected throughout the day.
My current setup works just fine but id like to extend the range and also utilize wifi 6 advantages in routing traffic. Whichever one I am getting I am gonna use my 4040 as a mesh client as well so maybe I wont need the 1200ax at all, but if I need it how many features am i losing by going with 7530ax instead of 7590ax
Side note, 4040 to ISP is connected via LAN while the rest of the repeaters are wireless mesh clients
TLDR; What features am i giving up by going with 7530ax instead of 7590ax
