Ive only gotten these plants 2 days ago and theyre anleady dying somehow any tips are welcome
I got some nutri base , aqua soil , liquid plant fetilizer to avoid my plants dying and for them to thrive but theyre lowkey doing the opposite rn
Dont mind the fact that the tank looks super unfinished i had to randomly place the plants and rock everywhere which will be fixed later lol

2024.11.29 00:40 csalaam1 Relay and not sure how this one works
 | So I've been doing electrical work for some years but just starting commercial fire alarm systems and getting confused. I've always thought of a relay having a primary voltage that changes the contacts when the coil is energized and a secondary voltage source that goes to a load and makes some happens or changes something else. But I'm talking with the guy who is helping me learn fire alarm and he's confusing me bad and either I don't understand or he doesn't. So there's a j box tht has 2 separate 16 awg wires in it. And both of those go down to separate j boxs above a heat pump and that's where the relay will be. Then between those two boxes there's a 16 awg jumper and from the 2 relays there's a whip with a 16 awg wire down to the heat pump and he says when the vesda unit senses smoke it will shut the fans down. Makes sense but not the relay part cause I'm asking him what power source is turning the pump off and he says the slc. And I said ok but what power source is changing the state of the relay and he said the slc. Im like how does it do both? He said cause it's addressable and even though theres multiple devices tied into the slc it can independently sent signals to each individual relay. Doesn't make sense to me electrically but maybe I'm not understanding. Not sure if my explanation or my picture is enough for someone to help but I'd appreciate it. I just thought an slc was monitoring for integrity and I can't wrap my head around it be the supply voltage and the one tht changes the coil on the relay also. Friend of mine has been in the states for almost 5 years on an R1 visa. i-360 approved upon his 2.5 year renewal. i-485 was filed, accepted, but PD is not current. Employer is expecting the i-485 to be rejected based on PD, and so he will be leaving the country when his R1 expires rather than waiting out the i-485 decision, to avoid visa over-stay.
In this position, hoping to return to the US on another R1 after the requisite 1-year stay in home country, is there a best practice to follow here? Any advantage to withdrawing application before departing, vs after the fact? Is withdrawing a better position vs. having it be considered abandoned later on? Any other general or specific advice would be appreciated!

Ok, so: since the 16th l've been requesting CB a name change since I fucked up and just put the first letter of my first last name instead of the full thing. In the 21th I got told that it got "moved" to "urgent requests" but my name is still the same. Mfs got my 2 passports and my voting ID and still haven't changed it. Atp I'm stressed ash cause the exam is only getting closer and I even got contacted by a teacher in the center about my registration not matching my id and if I show up and the name don't match, I'll get sent back. What can I do in this case? Already tried calling AGAIN, but today and tomorrow are holidays apparently. Also sent a support request trough the forms, but it's the second one I send this week and I haven't got an answer. Honestly kind of scared cause it's my last chance to present this bs.

So I’m struggling right now. I had a miscarriage and I guess I just feel like why does God watch us suffer and not intervene ? I feel ……wrong? Asking that. But…it’s just a question I have. He’s all powerful and he can teach us life lessons in any possible way so why does it have to be that we suffer? Why doesn’t he intervene? I see him intervening occasionally in the Bible but sometimes he doesn’t. Why ? I mean there are mothers losing their children or kids being kidnapped and tortured and killed and I just….ive prayed so many times for Christ’s return. Or for him to intervene. I myself would intervene but why doesn’t he? I know it’s wrong to question God. Am I faithless right now? I don’t know. Maybe. 😭
