2024.11.29 02:00 Frederick_kiessling Quest 9 make_purty_pitcher() Question
Hey guys, maybe I am just not understanding or misread something but I am a bit confused about the make_purty_pitcher() function. All my tests for miniquests 1-6 are passing, but then for the 7th miniquest make_purty_pitcher() function it does not really give me an error mesage it just gives me for example "Zach's Icosahedron" graph structure and says "Wow! A really cool Graph. Thanks #0:" and then for my structure it also just writes out the strucutre and says "Wow! A really cool Graph. Thanks #1:"
So I am a bit confused because the instructions seem to suggest we can create any graph... I guess it also says as long as it "it's purty nuff" so I am assuming theree is a certain threshold of complexity that the code tests for? However, I already made some pretty "complex" structures and it still does not seem to work.
Maybe I am just completely misunderstanding here but if anyone knows please let me know

2024.11.29 02:00 BeauIvI My players meeting their first dragon, is it too soon?
My party are now level 5, and I had an idea to have the next session drop hints of a dragons lair in the mountains nearby.
A PCs backstory had a dragon destroy their city of origin, and thought to bring this to light, maybe delve into the "why" adding to the campaigns plot.
But, am I preparing for a TPK? How do other DMs have a big bad meet the party without wiping the floor with them?
Most of our encounters, they've done pretty good, beating them without too much consequences, almost had 1 PC drop get close to 0hp recently, raised the stakes.
But the dragon would easily TPK, so should I have him for story and dialogue only, then he flies away, having given the party a quest or more information? Or can I have combat?

heyyy so im super confused :( ever since the update then update for the new life and death expansion my game has been completely broken and I literally cant figure out what mod it is the mods I have are: MCC, Xmlljector, Unlimited jobs, UI cheats, More traits, Adeepingo divergent-healthcare-education-dental-uni application, slice of life, littlemssam foster-spend weekend-first love, Carl gameplay overhaul, Lumipino RPO collection and moodpack. I also have small amounts of CC I've already updated MCC, Xmlljector, UI cheats, and more traits since they usually cause problems after updates for me but now I cant figure out whats wrong :(

some perspectives the entire SC2 community needs to hear.
SC changes are purely emotional, not factual or statical. patch updates do not have the intention of making the game better, I would define better by moving toward a goal of consensus all the race are generally equal and player ability determines the outcome, promoting players to innovate and invent new builds, make tournaments more exciting for viewership.
if blizzard or the shadow government, whoever, were trying to make the game better they would do 3 simple things, and these things, mind you, will never happen. 1. Make changes that don't need explanation because they are so obviously good and needed. 2. put whos making these changes in the public spotlight so we can assess accountability, know what their biases are and praise and hold up on our shoulders for good ideas. lastly 3rd, release the statistics they claim to use for public review so we can re recrate the same conclusions the people or person making the changes did. HOWEVER number 3 is impossible because as i said initially, don't use statistical data to make changes because problem number 1 is changes are emotional, there is no data to disclose to the public in the first place. every patch explanation change always has "we feel" "we don't like" "this unit shouldn't do x" "we don't want players using unit x like that" somewhere in the paragraph of nonsense.
Patch note explanations should read something like this. we see 75% of tvz of all latter games world wide games end in z victory because unit x in combo with unit y was used 10 minutes into the matches and t player has a 10% margin of error to respond perfectly or their probability of a lost increases by 200%.
again these things are not going to happen. Pro players are already moving to other games where their income isn't decided by the mood of someone behind the curtain.
what is the solution? abandon blizzard's idea of balance and make our own. Do what SC2 Evo has done.

how do you estimate your cable runs. let say you have 10 device in a particular wing of a building. it's not really feasible to run one cable at a time.
I understand figure out where the cables will meet to run them to the head end. So place the boxes at that point and pull to the head end put
Whats the best way to estimate to the device from there.

How do you handle the harassment from people and neighbors. I'm tired of hearing pig or other outlast terms when I go outside. Tired of hearing sicko or pervert etc. Tired of hearing people yell sometimes when I'm in my own home. Normally I don't respond but idk what to do.
