Me (22) and my gf (20) have been dating for about a year and I found out today that she does not want kids. I found out because there was this question about it on paired (an app for long-distance couples, as we are temporarily long distance) and i had to guess what she was gonna answer, i suspected she was gonna say she doesn’t want kids, and her answer was indeed no. I am just processing how i feel, because honestly I have no idea. I only recently started thinking about the idea of having kids more, and I just thought that I would never want to carry a baby, but maybe adoption would be a possibility. We never talked about it, maybe also because I was scared she would say she doesn’t want them. She is not really the kind of person to think much about the future, so I was not really surprised, I just don’t know what i feel. Also, we are both still so young, so I was thinking that it’s also maybe too much to think about this stuff already. I thought to myself: i probably wouldn’t want a child within 10years. Who knows whats gonna happen within that time. But I asked her about it, and she was very firm with her answer, so she definitely thought it through already. Does anyone have any advice? I asked her during a videocall about it and i got all red and quiet when i asked her about it, so she probably knew something was up. She always notices. I just love her so much and want to be together, but this just feels like we might want different things in life, am i overreacting? Since i wouldnt see myself as a parent for at least 10years..

This will be quite graphic so be warned
I’m concerned about my whether or not my vagina has a normal “tightness” or not. I am a young women and I was doing research on “kegal muscles” to see if my vagina was properly “tight”. I was only concerned about this because when I get very aroused my vagina is able to take in a lot of air and expand to insane levels (beyond the girth of a penis), and I’m worried that means it’s too loose or something. Is this normal or should I be concerned about having a weak pelvic floor?
I also stuck my finger into my vagina and tried doing kegal exercises. While I felt my vagina around the entirety of my finger, when I contracted my vaginal muscles during kegal exercises, I barely felt a squeeze around my finger. Again, is this normal or do I have an issue?
I know I’m coming across as overly paranoid but I need reassurance that I’m normal 😭

1) Mostly a non-hijabi who wears modest western clothes like jeans and tops. I also wear Korean makeup styles. I do, however put a dupatta on my hair with salwaar kamees when I am going for a more traditional or religious gathering.
2) I am loud and outspoken. I voice my opinions and don't care what aunties and uncles would say.
2) Academic validation seeker and wants to have a career as a nurse even after I get married.
3) My hobbies include baking, playing dress to impress game, reading romance novels and watching K dramas.
4) I have had some crushes growing up, including on older male foreign actors.
5) Proud feminist particularly that of pro choice, intersectional and radical feminism. I also used to go to Aurat marches with my friends in my younger days and still do when I have time.
6) Have a lot of desires, a high intimate drive and extreme fantasies even though I have never committed any physical relationship related haram.
7) I love to travel a lot and I have been to some western countries solo.
8) My family isn't very strict and I have a similar freedom as most Desi guys.
9) I am not interested too much in having children since I have some family members with major mental illnesses and I don't want to pass them on to any innocent child. My older sister is schizophrenic, and I have an aunt who also has schizophrenia. Plus I have spoken to men who also don't desire children for one reason or another.
10) I have a very small minimalist heart tattoo on my finger that I got when me and my best friend traveled to London - we both got matching tattoos and she's my dorm mate in college.

2024.11.29 01:56 adamwow18 Layer squish after replacing LCD on Saturn 4
 | So I had an issue where a print broke off mid session and the machine didn’t detect it and smashed it into the lcd breaking it. Reached out to support and they sent out a new lcd (it was like pulling teeth) 3weeks later I get the new LCD, install it and run a calibration print (cones of calibration v3) to test. Everything has a layer squish and is rendering the machine unusable. I’ve had the machine for about 2 weeks before this all happened. Reached back out to support and they have sent me to their R&D team but I’ve not heard anything in a week and a half despite me emailing asking for an update. I (28f) live alone and share an adjoining wall with a neighbour, we both rent the properties we live in but there are different landlords in the UK. She throws parties mid week that go on until 2am, loud music, shouting, singing. She also argues all the time with people because I can hear her screeching at people in the room or down the phone. Noise incidents happen few times a month and often effect my sleeping and then my work the next day.
I dont want to have to speak to this woman, I'm super anxious of conflict and also have heard how she handles conflict, i don't want to get screamed at for asking someone to be more considerate.
Is it really pathetic to write a note though and explain the impact? What do i do then if it doesn't stop?
