2024.11.29 02:40 Perc80Fiend Im certain, 25%+ of the players in ground are either scripting or bots.
The shots that these players are hitting are absolutely insane. 1km+ away, Either my gun breach or gunner get targeted, and then the next shot take out the rest of my crew/ammo.
And these aren't your level 100 vets that have been playing for 10 years and have 30,000 battles. These are level 10-50 players with less than 800 battles hitting crazy accurate shots, from seemingly impossible distances/angles able to detect every tank's weak points before I'm even exposed.
I'm not one to call out "Cheater!" when I'm killed, but at this point it is so, so often that I have begun to question the validity of these players. What's even more suspicious, is almost every time these are PC players, using a controller. If I had to theorize, there is some sort of script going around that exploits the aim assist of controllers to get crazy accurate shots from just the right distance to ensure penetration, and I don't believe I'm alone in this as I have begun to see a lot of other players begin to question similar patterns. At this point it feels like there are at least 3-4 "bot-like" players per lobby that don't necessarily protect themselves, often sitting fully exposed but are able to dial in shots and make the perfect hit to disable your tank, EVEN if you shuffle your tank, they will hit a MG port/gun breach from over 1km away.

Our 3.5 month old baby wakes up at practically exactly 30min every time for a non contact nap. Even when holding him, his body triggers him awake it seems always in the 30min range before we have to comfort him back to sleep.
Now when putting him to bed for the night, he always wakes up around 30min and we need to comfort him to get him back to sleep.
He does eventually stay down for hours at night, but any helpful advice on breaking the 30min wake up that his body seems to be programmed on, or is this just too early to really train anything on sleep/wakeup?

Went to miracle ear for full exam and consultation with Hearing Aid Specialist. My insurance I think just covers amplifon which they said is basically the miracle ear brand (is that right?) anyway he said it would be $600 for maintenance for lifetime of hearing aides. I think insurance covers in full the HAs. Is that typical? Was thinking I should go to another in network place that has audiologists specifically but not sure. Guy seemed to know what he was talking about and also didn’t push me going forward as much as I thought he would. I have mild to moderate HA. He also said I can only understand 88% of speech and that will never be better even with hearing aides. Was confused by that.

What would you change in this build to get the best price-to-performance ratio? I'm also planning to get a monitor. I don't care as much about competitive gaming—I'm more focused on immersion. I have been reading and researching extensively to replace our 10 year old 50 gal natgas HWH.
Narrowed down to these 2 Rheem Heatpump options and wonder if anyone can clarify the efficiency difference between them?
- Performance Platinum Hybrid 65 Gal. XE65T10H45U1 30amp 240v
- ProTerra 80 Gal. 120-Volt Plug-in XE80T10HMS00U0 15amp 120v
I assumed, perhaps wrongly, that a 4200btu compressor would do the same job regardless of 120v or 240v, and that the higher power demands of the 65gal unit were due to the heating elements (it’s a hybrid whereas the 120b is HP only).
Does this make sense? Why would what seems to be the same HP hardware be more efficient at 240v?

So the past few days I’ve had an issue. I feel as though I’m not peeing correctly. It’s kinda hard to explain, but it’s as if I can’t use the muscle properly. I pee just fine, but right at the end it feels like I haven’t finished peeing and I can’t push anything out, almost like I can’t use the muscle to push. Coming up on a year with my job which is generally when I either get bored and find something else or get so much anxiety suddenly and for no apparent reason and stop showing up. The longest i have been at a job is 3 years and I am so tired of job hunting.
I love my current job. I work from home, overnight. Very much a graveyard shift. I can be with my pets 24/7. If I am depressed and can’t manage to get dressed or wash my hair, it doesn’t matter-as long as I sound confident on any calls and emails. I don’t think I could really find better right now.
But… I have been applying to other jobs none stop. I’ve been sick so it’s harder to come in in general but it’s been hard to come in. I don’t know why I do this. I have great scores and reviews. I work full time and 4 days a week, have good insurance. I have worked to get here, how do I not mess it up?? I feel like I’m about to mess it up.
