I’ve got a new character idea I’m excited to share:
Meet Levi—he hasn’t exactly been winning the lottery of life lately. After an unfortunate run-in with a high-ranking vampire, Levi found himself unexpectedly turned. The good news? Vampire law says they can’t just get rid of him. The not-so-good news? He’s barred from participating in court.
Luckily, Levi’s always been a night owl. His new nocturnal lifestyle just made it official.
Despite the challenges, Levi’s managed to hold onto his upbeat attitude and carve out some normalcy. His boss moved him to the night shift at the convenience store, and he’s finishing up his schoolwork online.
Money, though, has been a little… tight. Turns out, finding reliable takeout for the fang-inclined is even pricier than Uber Eats—especially when you’re not exactly the suave type who can lay on the charm at parties and clubs.
But hey, Levi’s always found a way to make it work. Just gotta take it one day—er, one (night) at a time.

Hey everyone! 24 yr old female 5'9 200 lbs (history of PCOS and newly diagnosed IBS). I was diagnosed with IBS at the gastro recently because I think that's all they could really chalk it up to. My symptoms would be as follows: severe abdominal pain in varying areas brought on by no specific food or activity and would last a few minutes depending on how I am sitting/standing. I still have that sometimes but the most worrying part that was weird was this next part. From winter of 2023 to summer of 2024 I would wake up at night and have these gastro episodes I would call them. Sometimes it was once per month and some months it would be 2-3 times in the same month. Every one of these episodes would occur in the middle of the night and never when I was already awake. I would wake up with a cold sweat, shakiness, heart racing, nausea and a very strong panic response. I would run to the toilet and most of the time it would feel like my heart was going to actually fall out of my chest. Once on the toilet I would 9/10 times have severe diarrhea in which I did feel somewhat better after the diarrhea was expelled. I would be sweaty, shaky and nauseous throughout all of this. A couple times I would feel slightly better and go back to sleep just to have to run to the toilet again and have more diarrhea. Throughout the days before these "episodes" my stomach would be as it normally is and nothing out of the ordinary. I am not allergic to any foods, I have been tested for celiac and gluten sensitivity and it was negative. I have tried testing myself with dairy and it was fine for my stomach so I do not think any food is a trigger for me. These episodes stopped around summer of this year but I actually had an "episode" yesterday after I had lunch. I ate lunch at a restaurant, maybe 45 mins-1 hr later I was in the grocery store and it hit me, the nausea, cold chills, shakiness. No diarrhea yesterday but the consistency was not far from it. That's the only "episode" I've had where I wasn't fully asleep when it started. I had a colonoscopy in May and there were no findings that they could tell. Only thing was that I had some common internal hemorrhoids. It is worth mentioning my dad has Crohn's disease, I had mentioned it to my gastro but they did not see anything on the colonoscopy that would indicate I have it. I also have frequent gas, stomach upset and nausea on a daily basis. I am just wondering if anyone else has had these symptoms or if there is any doctor here that may be able to give me an idea. Thank you all in advance.
TLDR: mystery IBS symptoms that my gastro seems to be unable to diagnose as they are "weird" symptoms. Waking up with nausea, sweating, cold chills, shakiness followed by diarrhea 1x month to 2-3x a month and lasted about 6 months.

So I have been offered positions on my dream units where I currently live - ED and women/ infants position- both $32-$35 an hour. My issue is where I live I’m miserable - I moved to CO to go to school from CA. I almost think that I literally cannot last another year living in this dump of a town… Back home in Nor Cal I’ve only had 3 interviews for floor positions without success- it’s so competitive. I got offered a SNF for $50 an hour back home and I’m constantly still applying to hospital jobs. If you were me would you try to stick it out for a year and return home back to CA as a travel nurse or would you return home practically jobless just to experience joy again lol. Welcome to any thoughts or possible job avenues 🫶🏻

Im trying to move my departure time earlier, with my ticket fare I’m able to do so. However with the change I’ll be going from DFW-CLT-GPT. Once I arrive to DFW would I be able ti attempt stand by directly from DFW-GPT? OR do I have to go through CLT?
It makes common sense, but would AA entertain that?
