2024.11.29 03:49 Left-Profit-7386 Real or manufactured stone?

Real or manufactured stone? This is totally out of interest only as I like the colour, pattern and function of our bench top (existing when we moved in)…but is there any way to tell if this is real or manufactured material from these pictures? It’s the same on the underside, about 3.5cm thick, just unpolished. If it’s not possible to tell from photos, how would I find out?

2024.11.29 03:49 Xaphn1973 What's in a plate?

I have a 92 convertible LX. It had a 2.3L. Now has a 302+0.030 (306) with an AOD from an 89. It's on the loud side. Still has the 4.10 - 7.5 rear end. (For now) Before life happened 7 years ago, it was originally nicknamed Sleeping Beauty because I wanted to coyote swap. The paint is pretty rough, though there's next to no rust on it. Its currentlydarker blue. (I do plan to paint it with high quality BiminiBlue) I really want a custom plate for it. Something that hasn't been done 1000 times for a foxbody. So what I'm asking is what would a good tag be? SLPNBTY BMNIFOX 306 FOX Suggestions???

2024.11.29 03:49 checogarcia Graceland pre show has a special version of Burning Love, what is it?

Took the family to Graceland on Tuesday and we loved. But my big question is: what version of burning love do they play in the pre show film? It’s heavy and groovy and I love it. It’s not the original, the Hawaii special or any older version that I know of so far. Any hints?

2024.11.29 03:49 iTzHanzo117 Getting the itch again

It's been about 3 years since I played. I have, what I would consider, a midgame account. I had a quest cape, 1600ish total, almost 100 combat, fire cape, DS2/SotE/the big vamp one done.
WoW season has come to an end for me and that year $100 sub for OSRS is looking good.
Thinking of resubbing, work on getting quest cape back, doing my tree and herb runs, and knocking some slayer out.
What other recommendations / new content should I be aware of?

2024.11.29 03:49 FarmerG- I'm looking to get a Wood Pellet Smoker and Gas Combo Grill, any suggestions would be appreciated.

So recently I have been looking into getting a smoker but I would also like it to be a propane grill combo. My budget is around 550 Id say but has some wiggle room. This would be my first smoker so id like it to be relatively easy to use with a screen of some kind. Any recommendations would be appreciated
I was looking around and doing some research and found this https://shop.pitboss-grills.com/products/pit-boss-mile-hybrid-wood-pellet-grill?bvstate=pg:2/ct:q Would this be a good smoker grill combo or no?

2024.11.29 03:49 Paigeb1994 Which time should Raul have won a Tony?

When should he have won a Tony? I think I know the answer but I wanted to create a poll anyway. He has a total of 4 nominations. And if you think he should have been nominated for another performance feel free to comment.
First nominations was in 2004 when he was nominated for Taboo he played Phillip Salon. He lost to Michael Cerveris who played John Wilkes Booth in Assassins. Assassins is about historical figured who attempted some successful some not to assassinate Presidents of the United States and explores what their presence in American history says about the ideals of their country. The score is written to reflect both popular music of the various depicted eras and a broader tradition of "patriotic" American music. Music and lyrics are by Stephen Sondeim so not surprising to see it won a few Tonies. He later won a second Tony in 2015 for Fun Home playing Bruce Bechdel. Also might know him as The Observer in Fringe. He is also in The Gilded Age playing Watson. As far as this one goes it was Raul's first nomination and Phillip Salon's second he was previously nominated in the same category in 1993 for The Who's Tommy.
His second one came in 2007 for Company and he played Bobby. He lost to David Hyde Pierce who played Lieut. Frank Cioffi. Of course David Hyde Pierce is best known for playing Niles Crane in Frasier and he won 4 Supporting Actor Emmys for that. Curtains was his first time being nominated. Curtains is based on a book by Peter Stone the musical is a send-up of backstage murder mystery plots, set in 1959 Boston Massachusetts and follows the fallout when Jessica Cranshaw, the supremely untalented star of Robbin' Hood of the Old West is murdered during her opening night curtain call. It is up to Lt. Frank Cioffi, a police detective who moonlights as a musical theatre fan, to save the show, solve the case, and maybe even find love before the show reopens, without getting killed himself. Cioffi also dreams of being in musical theatre This is the one I think he should have won and no offense to Neil Patrick Harris but his version of Bobby is a million times better. Love NPH but Raul's was better.. No offense to David Hyde Pierce he's great he's talented but this is the one where I think most people think Raul should have won. That night Company did win Best Revival of a Musical.
Third nomination was for The Homecoming in 2008 playing Lenny who from what Wikipedia said is a pimp and that is sorta funny to me. It is set in North London, the play has six characters. Five of these are men of the same family: Max, a retired butcher; his brother Sam, a chauffeur; and Max's three sons: Teddy, a philosophy professor in the United States; Lenny, a pimp who only makes discreet references to his "occupation" and his clientele and flats in the city and Joey, a brute training to become a professional boxer and who works in demolition. The sixth character is a woman, Ruth, Teddy's wife. The play concerns Teddy's and Ruth's "homecoming," which has distinctly different symbolic and thematic implications. He was nominated for Best Performance in a Play and lost to Jim Norton who won for The Seafarer. Jim Norton was also in a bunch of other things in the UK like Father Ted. More recently he was in the West End's version of To Kill a Mockingbird playing Judge Taylor.
Fourth nomination was for Speed-to-Plow he played Charlie Fox in 2009. It is about The play sets its context with an epigraph (not to be recited in performance) by William Makepeace Thackeray from his novel Pendennis, contained in a frontispiece: It starts: "Which is the most reasonable, and does his duty best: he who stands aloof from the struggle of life, calmly contemplating it, or he who descends to the ground, and takes his part in the contest?" He was nominated for Best Leading Actor in a Play and lost to Geoffrey Rush in Exit the King playing King Berenger. That play is about Berenger appears as a depressed and insecure everyman who is prone to sentimentality. In Exit the King, he is the solipsistic and belligerent King Berenger the First who was apparently at one point able to command nature and force others to obey his will. According to his first wife he is over four hundred years old. He is informed early in the play that he is dying, and the kingdom is likewise crumbling around him. He has lost the power to control his surroundings and is slowly losing his physical capabilities as well. Kinda OK with him losing to Geoffrey Rush cause he's a legend. He was in The King's Speech playing Lionel Logue who was King George VI's speech therapist, was also in Pirates of the Caribbean as Barbossa, Shakespeare in Love as Phillip Henslowe, Quills he played The Marquis de Sade he received Oscar Nominations for the last two and for King's Speech and won an Oscar Shine he played David Helfgott.

2024.11.29 03:49 WastingTime1111 Best home equipment?

If I wanted to learn more about biology as a hobby, and possibly get my kids interested as well, are there any companies out there that make decent home equipment without the huge price tag? I was thinking of getting a microscope to look at some blood smears to get started, but they range from $99 - $5000. That is a huge range. I just didn’t want to waste my money on a worthless cheap microscope and I also don’t want to spend thousands of dollars on something I don’t need. Any suggestions?
At a minimum, I figured that this might help a student who has the same question.

2024.11.29 03:49 No_Efficiency_9443 Digital cameras

Hi, im trying to decide between the Canon IXUS 190 or a nikon coolpix (idk what version, but looking for under $200 secondhand on eBay for reference). I’ll mostly just be taking photos of myself and my friends, so a good zoom, nature capture, and stuff like that doesn’t matter too much to me. I care more for the photo quality. Which one would be better?
