So I've been having problems with my touchscreen for quite a while now and decided to take the matter into my own hands. That was a bad idea.
My touchscreen almost never works and I got tired of having to deal with that all the time. I chose to buy this computer so that I could take notes for school using the pen and touchscreen. I thought about bringing my laptop somewhere so that the issue would get fixed, however, my finals are coming up and I can't not have my computer with me since I have essays to write. Therefore, I looked up ways to fix the problem, but by doing so, I removed the HID compliant touchscreen from the device manager and I am unable to reinstall it. I have no idea if what I was trying to do would've helped my situation, but I do know that nothing about the touchscreen works right now and this issue is driving me nuts.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
