My younger cousin was diagnosed with cancer a year back and recently his situation has gotten significantly worst. We used to play video games together and hang out quite often when we were younger but a few years before he was diagnosed we both went off into our own directions.
I want to reach out, but i’ve felt as though there’s multiple obstacles in my way. For one, according to his family a year ago he didn’t want to talk about it with anyone and didn’t even want most people to know. Mainly wanting people to treat him as if he wasn’t sick at all.
However, with his condition getting worst i’m not sure if he still feels that way. I tried reaching out to try and game with him again but he told me that he left his game consoles with someone else so he couldn’t.
I’m not sure how i could reach out in a way that respects his feelings, or if i should reach out. Part of me wants to say something directly about it but considering how he wanted people to treat him as though he wasn’t sick a year ago i don’t want to say something that will make him feel worst.
Since we haven’t talked in ages since we were kids i feel like he would know that i’m reaching out because he has cancer and may not like that.
If there’s anything i could do at all to perhaps make him feel better, please let me know. No matter how small of a thing it may be.

 | Yesterday/day before Thanksgiving I executed a competitive adventure with my family of 5, grandparents, and another extended family of 5. Their goal was to get the key to a Mexican army cipher wheel to decide a message and the first to tell me their message wins. There were 8 locations and both teams had clues and puzzles to each one just in different orders. I used two different thanksgiving cards to differentiate between the teams’ clues. (I forgot to tell them about the separate cards, so one team got both cards at their first location and I had to correct them after that) They started with a card with the first clue and the encoded message, a pigpen cipher decoder, and a Mexican Army Wheel cipher. After I told them their goal and how the cipher wheel works, they split into two teams and were off. They were simple linear hunts that started with a couple straight forward clues then went into some puzzles. My favorite puzzle was one with the pool table. If you’re on the discord you probably saw me perfecting it in the playtesting channel. The premise was I have the a folded paper in a card that had a picture of a pool table that had a layout of pool balls and instructions to determine how to get one of the balls into a particular pocket. The only way to get it into that pocket was to bounce it off of a wall. When they went to look at the pool table, there were envelopes with words on them and the wall the ball was supposed to bounce off of had the word “Grill” on it. A couple other puzzles were a word search and an Ottendorph-ish cipher using a diagram of the solar system where the first number is the planet and the second number is the letter in the name. My initial idea was to just have a treasure hunt for everyone but I couldn’t think of a good final treasure and I wasn’t sure my college aged cousins would be interested. These projects will be set up in 10 districts of Odisha such as Jajpur, Jharsuguda, Khurda, Sambalpur, Ganjam, Kalahandi, Malkangiri, Dhenkanal, Bhadrak and Jagatsinghpur, it said.
The Odisha government on Thursday approved 20 investment projects worth Rs 1.36 lakh crore, an official statement said.
The High-Level Clearance Authority (HLCA) headed by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has approved the projects, poised to generate employment for over 74,350 individuals and significantly bolster the state's economic growth, it said.
The approved projects span nine sectors including steel, chemicals, aluminium, aviation fuel, green energy and equipment, apparel and textiles, power and renewable energy and cement.
"Through strong cooperation between the state and central governments, we have fostered a business-friendly environment that attracts investors to Odisha. Our focus is on creating an ecosystem that promotes inclusive growth, sustainability, and job creation," Majhi said.
The HLCA has approved the proposal of Neelachal Ispat Nigam Ltd (Tata Steel) for expansion of its integrated steel plant capacity from 0.98 MTPA (million tonne per annum) to 9.50 MTPA with a cost of Rs 61,769.03 crore in Jajpur district.
Similarly, the proposal of Hindalco Industries Ltd for expansion of smelter capacity from 0.38 MTPA to 0.68 MTPA with a cost of Rs 10,645 crore in Sambalpur district was also approved by the state government.
In the last six months, Odisha has attracted investments exceeding Rs 1.80 lakh crore through 73 industrial projects, which would create employment for over 1.1 lakh individuals, the official statement said.

Hello everyone! I need some advice.
My ex came back into my life asking for a second chance saying he's changed and never wants to loose me again. He is mentioning engagement in the future and comes to see me everyday.
Backstory: My ex and I started dating senior year of high school, we dated for almost three years. I attended community college and transferred to university during that time & he started working a full time job. He broke up with me suddenly 2 weeks before our three year anniversary. Although, when I transferred he started acting weird, maybe because I moved to a new city, attended a new school, and was more busy. But I still lived only 15 mins from him. Our relationship was great. We were each others first love, met each others family, went on trips together, and all of that. Btw, we're both 20 years old so we're pretty young.
Breakup Period: When he broke up with me I was devastated. I cried a lot, my grades dropped, and lost myself for a bit. I later found out he left me to be with someone else. So he was already seeing this girl and they were going on dates and all. I also got an email receipt of them staying at a hotel because I had made us a hotel account in the past and ig his reservation was still attached to that. We had been broken up for 1 month by then & I decided to finally go on a date. Im very open on social media and posted a get ready with me to go on a first date. He happened to see it and text me soon after it was posted asking me if ive moved on. Of course I haven't, so he said he was going to come talk to me in person. He comes and basically tells me everything he did with the girl and tells me he wants a second chance. He blocks the girl on everything & takes me out to dinner. After that, he started coming every single day and spending all day with me.
Now: The girl texted me on instagram today, telling me she wanted to talk. She calls me and tells me everything that happened between them & it lead me to find out he cheated on me. I thought his involvement with this girl started until after we broke up and thats what he had told me. But turns out, when he went to the beach with his best friend around 2 weeks before we broke up, they were doing a double date with her and her friend. He kissed her that day and asked for her number. Keep in mind, my ex was texting me throughout the whole time & even FaceTimed me on his way home and I had no idea. She also had said he complained about me. But that they also never had sex, but did other things. She also told me that she never knew about me before and even when they met, because he had said we broke up in February (which is a lie ofc and wtf? its so random because our relationship was great until October). But I also now hate his friends because they were the ones to also push this double date and let him cheat on me.
What to do: I know that the best thing to do is to let him go and be with someone else because I don't deserve that. But on the other hand, I prayed during the whole breakup for us to one day come back to each other and try again. I know relationships take a lot of hard work, forgiveness, and effort. He's telling me that he is changing and regrets everything he did. His whole family loves me and wants us to be together. But I'm terrified of being hurt again. He might change and it can be a learning point for him as a young man or he can simply cheat on me again. I can stay and get hurt again or possibly end up with a husband? idk man :/ I'm so conflicted because at the same time I do want to see where this could go if I do give him a second chance?

Very interesting footage...this is apparently from the Hartshorne/South Derbyshire area.
These could just be searchlights. But starting at around the 0:22-0:54 mark, they increasingly begin to move faster, farther, and more erratically than any searchlights I've ever seen. Definitely worth analyzing.

I am a very anxious person as is; however, for the holiday I decided to hire a pet sitter for my cats and head out of state for the week. Everything has been fine until today, I checked my home cameras and saw a woman sleeping on my couch followed by 2 cops removing her and walking through the apartment.
I was not called or notified of what happened by my apartment complex or the police. I called the police to figure out what happened, she was mentally ill and homeless. I talked to the sitter, she had been locking the door wrong so anyone at any point could have walked in….and she did. Two perfectly terrible situations came together in my apartment today.
I am struggling to cope with feeling violated. I am angry the apartment complex (with a doorman and higher security) somehow allowed this woman in. I cannot return home for another 2 days, I am terrified for my cats and when I look at the cameras everything is as she left it in the apartment. I feel re-traumatized over and over and over.
I dont know where to start at all.

Years ago I had a wart on my foot that was a BITCH to treat. I had the beetle juice treatment which I had a worse than normal reaction to. I could not walk to days, my dermatologist said he’d never seen a reaction like that before. (I wish I had photos). Best part is, the wart didn’t go away. I had to get not one, not two, but THREE liquid nitrogen treatments. Needless to say my foot has been through it. So for years I’ve dealt with red, throbbing (not painful, it literally has a pulse sometimes), tingly, dry and tough tissue where the wart was. No matter how much I apply moisturizer to it, it just stays so dry. Anyone else have this? Is that scar tissue? Is the wart living deep down under the surface?
