[You say fine]
"That's cool...I was thinking of just chilling tonight. What about you?"
[You say the same]
"Cool...cool. It's only fair that I say that I got a call from your folks."
[you ask what they wanted?]
"Ah, you know same old same old, all of "Why don't you get a girlfriend" kind of talk."
[You sit down and facepalm]
"Don't let it bug you dude. Just because your single doesn't mean that you don't want to be in a relationship."
[Pause]
"Take me for example, I'm single due to the fact that so many people think that because I'm a goth, I have a dark Arora around me. I mean sure I can't stand stupid people but...outside of that. I Like to think I'm pretty chill."
[Pause]
"I get it. Your situation right now is...complicated."
[Pause]
"So you don't have to visit them this Christmas if you don't want to."
[You ask why?]
"Well, the past few holidays you came back miserable. How about you just stay here with me. We can watch Christmas movies, eat pizza, have way too much candy."
[You ask if she really is down for Christmas movies?]
"Well sure dude. I bet you think I wouldn't like the classics because I'm a goth right?"
[You nod]
"*Sigh* Unlike most goths, I don't hate Christmas. It's just...not my favorite holiday. I know that you love it though. So come on. Let's hang out and just chill together."
[Pause]
"Maybe we can watch Home Alone together? Arguably one of my favorite Christmas movies."
[You ask what about Nightmare before Christmas?]
"Well, that use to be good...until everyone and their grandma started harping on "Oh, this movie is so amazing" and it kind of ruined it for me. Now it's kind of overrated."
[Pause]
"So tell me, you up for it?"
[You nod]
"Cool, I'll place the order in and you can set up the movie."
[She pulls out her phone]
"Any toppings in particular you want?"
[You ask for pepperoni]
"Got it....two Pepperoni's. Yes it me....Yes I know....It's not that many in a week."
[Pause]
"Don't ask dude. I...may have ask the pizza place to deliver a few pizzas while you were gone."
[You ask why?]
"It's been lonely not having your home cooking and your presence around."
[Pause]
"Anyways, enough about all of this, Tell me...I might as well ask, why are you still single?"
[You ask why she wants to know]
"Well, I told you why I was single a while ago; I'd figure it's only fair."
[You explain that woman find you intimidating]
"Ah the whole "Dark Arora" kind of excuse, I get that."
[You ask if it is that noticeable]
"Well sure, I mean the few guys I get asked out are either "Extremely Thirsty" or "Thinking that I'm a Goth I must have some issues" which isn't true."
[Pause]
"My mom was supportive and my dad help me size up for some boots to wear. If anything, they were super loving and caring despite my...darker look. They still love me as a daughter."
[You are surprised by the response]
"Ok, so my siblings had an easier target for me when I was turning goth. The makeup, the cloths, the deeper voice. It didn't stop me though."
[Pause]
"However, when the guys realize I'm just a normal girl. They...are more disappointed than anything else."
[You say your more than that]
"I know dude. I just wish that everyone doesn't just see "The outside" and look inside."
[Pause]
"Say, I got an idea."
[You immediately say no]
"Aw, come on. At least hear me out first."
[You begrudgingly say "Fine"]
"Ok, so you know how your family keeps harping on you that you should get a girlfriend?"
[You nod]
"...and you know that a few of my friends are single right?"
[You object]
"Really man? Your going to shoot them all down?"
[You nod]
"*She starts to pout* Your no fun. What's wrong with them?"
[You mention they're not your type]
"Not your type? I'd figure at least one of them would be...well except the "Valley Girl"
[Pause]
"So what is your type then? Tomboy? Cheerleader? Office worker?"
[You say she's just mentioning trope types]
"Ok, ok. But there is some truth to it. I mean, it's not like your into a goth right?"
[You ask why?]
"Well two intimidating figures, it's bad enough that you have one. Imagine two, it would be like the Addams Family."
[Pause]
"Jokes aside, what kind of girls are you interested in?"
[You say kind and caring woman]
"Ah, going for the "Inner beauty" as it were"
[Pause]
"It's all good. It tells me that you have standards. *Under her breath* not that I would be your type anyways."
[You ask what does she mean?]
"What do I mean? Well...I figure that you wouldn't be interested in a girl like me."
[You ask why?]
"Why? Well, I can be mean...defensive...obnoxious...head strong...do you want me to continue?"
[You shake your head]
"It's not like that I would be against dating you, It's just...Do you think It would be weird buds dating. If only to get our parents off our backs?"
[You shake your head]
"Really? You mean it."
[you say of course.]
"Aw, thanks bud. I appreciate it."
[She gives you a warm hug]
"So tell me, if anyone who are you interested in?"
[You ask if she really is not going to let it go]
"Come on dude. What's the harm in telling me?"
[You sigh and ask her to not judge]
"Hey, it's a judgment free zone here. You can tell me."
[You say that you love her]
"Aw, dude I love you too..."
[You say more than that]
"What do you mean, more than that? Is there something more?"
[You say you love her more than a friend shoud]
"More than a friend...*Gasp* don't tell me. I'm...your crush?"
[You nod]
"Oh...I see."
[You ask is that it]
"Well, you just confessed that you love me. It's a lot to take in dude."
[You ask if she feels the same way]
"Well...sort of. It's...complicated."
[You ask if it's because she's your friend]
"More than that...I...don't have many friend. I worry that if it doesn't work, what then?"
[Pause]
"I love you dude, I really do. I just...worry if I'm enough."
[SFX: Kissing]
"You...you kissed me."
[You point to the mistletoe above you two]
"Of course, mistletoe. My arch nemesis. Anyways. Not that I would object to it. It's just..."
[She sighs]
"Ok, I love you too as well. Happy?"
[You mean it]
"Yes. It's just...promise me it won't get weird ok? Friends to lovers kind of tropes."
[You ask how]
"I mean, this sounds like a bad Hallmark film."
[You agree not to make it weird]
"Thanks buddy. Don't worry, according to the delivery. The pizza should be here in about five minutes."
[Pause]
"What? It's the Christmas season. Everyone and their grandma is ordering pizza now. That or Chinese."
[Pause]
"Hey..."
[SFX: Kissing]
"I do mean it. I really love you."
[You two snuggle as it fades to black]

Atm I have Optimism (because it had low fees) but is this going be harder to get sales? Should I choose POL, ARB or even SOL? I hear that using ETH is expensive. 2024.11.29 04:40 FreshnessChronic890 Reasonable to attempt 315 Bench?

Hello, I been chasing 315 bench for the past 2 months. Been benching twice a week and doing OHP and other accessories to strengthen my bench. Keeping squats and deadlifts at maintenance for now.
My best AMRAPs are 225 x 14. 230 x 10. 235 x 10. 240 x 9. 245 x 8 1 second pause. 275 x 3 second pause 1 second pause.
My best 2 second pause bench was 295, which felt easier than my PR TNG 300 bench press which was a grinder a month ago. Tried 275 AMRAP a couple days later and it was 4, definitely could hit 5 or more on a fresh day.
Is it reasonable to attempt 3 wheels with proper rest? I am no longer quote on quote a powerlifter, but would just like to achieve a small goal of mind.
Any help or guidance would be appreciated!

2024.11.29 04:40 yunn67 Day 0 / 29 - Trying to unfuck my life until new years

Introduction:
Hey, I'm a 18 yo with no life, no job, failing classes and no drivers license, overall I'm really behind people my age. I have ADHD and my daily routine is basically to stare at things I need to do, get overwhelmed and not do it.
That creates a cycle and it gets worse everyday since the longer my to-do list gets, the deeper the hole gets and it worsens my depression and anxiety, which results on worsening my task paralysis to a point where I can't even do basic tasks like like basic hygiene, organization or even eat lol
Is very tiring because I feel bad about it everyday, I want to do those things and they are in the back of my head 24/7, I just can't bring myself to do it.
I have tried every planner, calendar, alarm and to-do lists out there but nothing seems to work. I'm glad I found this sub because I know myself and having to post daily updates to internet strangers sounds like something that would motivate me to do at least the bare minimum
I'm doing a 29 day challenge so I can do things until the new years. But I'll continue the challenge after the 29 days, I just want to have a sense of deadline
My goals are:

Get better at studying
Organize my life
Be more minimalistic
Get a job
Get a driver's permit at least
Not be completely ashamed of myself
Improve drawing skills
Finish v-tube side project
Start to learn coding
Get better at basic hygiene
Start working out again
At least touch my roller blades after 1 year of no use
