I’ve gotten a bit annoyed at the fact that every pregnancy in this show is unplanned. Mainly the fact that it’s constantly this whole big deal that they’re now pregnant yet none of the couples ever have conversations about options. We’re lucky enough that in LA we have options over our bodies yet this show has these characters freak out and act like they have to have the baby like we’re in the 1950s or something. And listen I’m not saying that they have to have abortions but at least a conversation about whether she wants to go through with the pregnancy or adoption or at least show a few couples that have good family planning 😭

A goal of mine was to complete all or almost all of my Portrait collections in 2024 when I returned to playing the game in Feb 2024.
I have written and erased a long, too long story about me. Its boring. I joined in 2019, left in 2021 and came back this year. I think this is still too long.
I finished my penultimate collection this morning. I am still walking around a bit stunned.
I was looking for "the trick." How do I to get past the need for hundreds of boxes needed after attaining 97%? I tried the "turn on airplane mode trick." Once, I was able to reuse a second set of boxes. Then my device would override the airplane mode and go to Wifi mode by itself. I double checked on the second time. I was in airplane mode when I started, but in wifi mode when I completed turning in those boxes. Maybe, I am technically inept.
I have encouraged players to work hard on their incomplete collections if/when they get them as alternate collections. It can take a long time before the collection you need to finally come back into rotation.
I was lucky. I didn't realize until I went over data u/OCCobbletpot has posted that I actually received an alternate collection back in May 2024. I receive alternate collections. I know some do not. Talk with support, and be persistent.
I play hard. With the combination of wildlife, and solving puzzles, I usually get 100 or more boxes in the 24 hr period. If I can, I wait until the last minute or two of the event, if not seconds, before I start to turn in my boxes. You can't leave the screen. You can walk away, but you can't leave the screen. That was tested this morning.
My final collection is 'Tis the Season.
