2024.11.29 04:30 demiacemess Worried I'll never be able to go on testosterone
I have an extreme phobia of needles. And by extreme I mean it. I have to be unconscious for any procedures that require numbing. I also have health problems that require blood draws to monitor. I NEED to get over this fear for my own health but I can't, it's just been getting worse. I was actually on testosterone for about 3 weeks before the fear got too bad. My endocrinologist says I'm too irresponsible for gel and I'd give my mom (who I still live with) a mustache somehow, but even if I was allowed to go on the gel, I'd still have to get blood draws. I used to think I'd get over the fear as part of growing up, because I didn't know anyone else that had such a big fear over the age of 16, but it's only gotten worse over time. I'm so scared I'll never be able to go on t. If I could just do it for a couple of months, maybe a year or two, I could at least get more body hair and a deeper voice. But that would require so many needles. I can't even get top surgery without needles, because of the blood draws necessary to make sure I'm healthy enough. I just. I'm scared. And I don't know anyone else with a fear as extreme as mine

I've been struggling with laziness. It's not really the type of laziness that makes me want to throw away my responsibilities to do something else but rather the type where I just want to sit down and think about absolutely nothing. I want to feel absolutely nothing and disengage with my surroundings. It's affecting my personal life, family relationships, and most importantly my relationship with God. I’ve recently taken on a customer who wants me to bring back a neglected York RTU. It’s about 20 years old. The problem (from the client) is that the unit locks out during snow storms and wind . Upon arrival I see there is no hood over the combustion air intake. While I was there and the unit was in call for heat it would ignite and run proper for 1min 45seconds then gas valve shuts. Inducer motor still runs for another 2 mins. As the inducer shut off the unit fires again and runs for the same amount of time(with inducer running). The main board is showing error code of ignition board failure. There was a “spare” ignition board left in the unit. I swapped them and the same sequence happens. The main board has a reset button but will not reset. I’ve checked all safety components and all check ok. There is a fire safety control mounted on the supply duct that needs to be reset when the unit locks out
I’ve ordered a hood for the combustion air intake which should combat the wind issue. I’m going to replace the flame sensor because it is cheap and that rules out one potential problem. I don’t believe that is the problem.
I’m not a guy to start throwing parts at something but I’m thinking maybe the main board could be compromised as it will not reset.
Has anyone dealt with a York unit doing the same thing?

I've come out once to my whole family 6 years ago and three to my mom, and literally none of them ever remembered it past a week. The only reason they remember me being bisexual is because I keep making jokes about it, and in that week of remembering me being trans I was begged to not get surgery. Honestly, if they aren't going to remember I don't want to do it again. I want to be done with it and just go on to transitioning medically and socially without saying anything until they do. But what are the upsides and downsides to this? What are the risks?

Not his, mine 😭 my boy is about 1.5 and I’ve had him his whole life. We’re best friends. I’m traveling for the holidays right now and am away from him for 3 nights. I paid a lot of money to have a good sitter stay with him through the weekend but I just miss him. I’m worried about him. I wish I had cameras on him. I’m in bed sobbing right now because he sleeps with me every night but tonight I’m lonely. I’m trying not to bug the sitter for more pics/videos but I just miss my boy and my hearts shattered right now knowing that he’s so far away and that I won’t see him for 3 more days. Ok I was growing through his channel to see how it's dropping and I notice a community post he is doing a shop app giveaway. One I would like to say he limited to only America when he addressed all his fans this giveaway which majority is mad about.what I feel really bad about is the people saying how much they need the money and that they are in need of it when he shows 1 million dollars on the brief case. In reality people only win a $3 voucher for the app itself. He's scamming people into buying this rip off Shopify telling them they'll have a chance of a million when they get pocket cash someone can find on the floor. And it's not even money someone can use for whatever it's made for the app.
