 | I’m thinking of purchasing this blazer for weddings as the price seems really good. Anyone use this or have any reviews about their experience with this jacket? I currently use a blazer from Zara which has been great as it is super comfortable, it fits nice, plus it’s stretchy for constant movement throughout the day for those low and high angles. 2024.11.29 04:40 stonerbbyyyy custom paint job on 4 wheeler plastics
Long story short we have this old 4 wheeler that was given to us, it’s original plastics are blue but it’s a 90s model so it’s scuffed up, old, dirty, and i just don’t really like the color. I want to make it look brand new.
My plan is to take off the plastics and completely repaint them while my husband fixes it but i was thinking of going full custom on it.. and not just like regular flames or camo… but my problem is i want to sell it when i’m finished, and i’m afraid if its too personalized i won’t find a buyer thats willing to pay the price id be asking, but then a piece of me is telling me that there’s SOMEONE that will. Although I’m a little afraid i might make it ‘too girly’ but i also kind of don’t mind, in hopes it will be a woman buying it.
I guess my question is how do you feel about charging for personalized or custom art that fits into a certain niche? and how common is it to find a buyer for it? i paint, but not for profit. i just do it because i like to, but I’ve been trying to find a way to start doing bigger projects that will pay bigger money.
i don’t think i’d be upset if it didn’t sell, but idk, might be pretty discouraging tho lol.
have y’all done anything similar? how did it go for you?

I don’t understand the end of Paris, Texas. Let me explain: for me, Paris Texas is a state of mind, it is an aspirational place where Travis imagines he can rebuild his family. He aspires that, like his father (a character in which he sees himself reflected), he can get which keeps him alive.
But, all this breaks. Travis, drunk, reflects in a monologue about how his father idealized his mother: "He looked her, but he didn’t see her". And he begins to feel that way, he fails to fully recognize Jane after their reunion. He breaks the idealization he had of her and with this, he loses what Paris, Texas means to him. For this, he throws away the photo of his land in the bar, he is no longer interested in rebuilding his family, only in reuniting Jane and Hunter and go away as a lone cowboy or a ronin whit out honor.
But, why? Why does he lose his hope if he finally found happiness in his son? He finally understood that he wanted to be a father, why leave Hunter alone again? Is Travis afraid that his past will resurface and repeat it again? Or does he have some grudge against Jane? When Travis says goodbye to Hunter for the last time via recording, he says: “I could never heal up what happened”. What is he referring to? to what he did or what Jane did to him?
In conclusion, I don't understand Travis' final decision, why run away again? Wasn't Hunter helping him heal? Why abandon his family? Why abandon the hope of Paris, Texas?

Hi everyone, I'm looking for recommendations on a phone that delivers excellent photo quality. It doesn't have to be the newest model, but I'd like something that takes sharp, detailed photos-especially when transferred to a PC.
I'm trying to avoid images that look pixelated or like they were painted with watercolors. I understand that achieving DSLR-level quality might not be possible, but I'd like something as close to that as I can get.
Things like editing features aren't as important since I can tweak the photos in post. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

After finding out it’s so hard to separate intuition vs just being paranoid about my husband using again. The second dday was about 3 months ago. I’ve been wanting to ask him for the past few days, but I almost don’t want to hear the answer if he is using, plus it’s just hard to have those conversations with a new baby around now. He still tries to be intimate with me whether he’s using or not, his attitude with me doesn’t really change either, so it’s really hard to tell any signs. He doesn’t take his phone into the bathroom. My main worry at the moment is that he may be looking at things then going into the bathroom and thinking about them. I know I need to just ask as we had seem to hit a more honest breakthrough after that dday, but the trust still just isn’t there for me. Are there any small signs that made you know it was happening again? Are you able to distinguish between an intuition feeling and just anxiety?

Ok, hear me out for a second. I know this is a truly insane thing to ask, but i think this question makes sense in this sub.
Since we here know all about picking things to fit in a category, Raty Boy, and the Ratatouille 100% achievement play through, I think I need this sub to answer this question.
I just wandered over to my oldest (19) who is watching TV while everyone else is sleeping. He is currently watching Ratatouille. I asked why, since he's an adult and he could be watching Max or Netflix, or anything on Disney+ that he wanted.
He answered: It's a thanksgiving movie. It's about food. Today we spent the day cooking. It's about cooking. I'm full. It's about food.
Clearly he is wrong in some aspects, but also, its about loving food, and Thanksgiving is a harvest festival about appreciating food, so he's right?
So, let's debate. Is Ratatouille a Thanksgiving movie or not?
