2024.11.29 04:30 No-Map-8989 Twitch / Internet & PC issue
Okay so I’m honestly confused or what the deal could be either internet wise or computer hardware issues.
So I assume everyone here knows how twitch works and the gear icon next to full screen, clicking the video stats for nerds pulls up display resolution and skipped frames etc, so when I’m streaming 1080p 30fps, I get 0. When I put it to 1080p 60fps I skip hundred by the minute as well as any other resolution on 60 gps, I have a “1 gig” speed set up with “xStream” or Media Com which is the best I can get in my area. I was wondering what the issue could be as to in my opinion before I pieced this build together it said everything checked out well. I watch every other stream partnered or no do 1080p 60fps with either “worse” set up than mine and have better results and / or the ones with better PCS have better results.
My specs are
NZXT - H510 White Motherboard / MSI Z590 Tomahawk CPU / i9-11900KF GPU / MSI Geforce RTX 4060 Ram / Corsair Vengeance 16GB SSD / Team Group Vulcan Z 240GB HD / Seagate Barracuda 2TB CPU Cooler / Cooler Master ML240L
Please for the love of god help me figure out this issue since I’m doing speed tests on the daily and see no issues with it, the cord itself could be replaced (Cat6) that’s the only other thing I can think of but no way that can cause this. I can also link my OBS / Streamlabs settings if needed since I tried almost about everything from x264 to NVENC encoder from Lowest to highest, changing bitrates etc nothing. Just want to stream with clean quality no dropped or skipped frames on twitch’s little tool. As far as playback goes people are saying I have no issues but I sense there’s something since it’s showing that.
If you could recommend what to upgrade, or what to do I’ll appreciate it lots and can post more info tomorrow after work. Thank you guys again!

Hello reddit,
I have managed to enter quite a convoluted relationship set-up. Some background: I am tending towards monogam-ish relationships, I am mostly submissive and tend to focus on one main partner strongly. However, in the past, I got together with a polyamorous person (among others, due to the high overlap between the BDSM and polyam-communities), and the relationship was polyamorous on their side, and open on mine. After we broke up, I continued to be non-monogamous - while I do *like* to give up control, it feels weird to me to, by default, end existing relationships because a new person entered my life. When not deeply in love, but "just" being physically and emotionally intimate with people I care a lot about, that works pretty well.
However, I really really love the idea of living with a partner, and sharing large parts of my life with them, and (potentially) having a family with them.
Recently (a few months ago), I got together with somebody new, and it strongly clicked for me. I feel very submissive towards them, want them to be my dominant, and my life partner, and would like the opportunity to be there to have a family together.
The twist is their newness to ethical non-monogamy. They desire this as a relationship model. However, they are in love with a partner who doesn't, and who would prefer to be monogamous with them. When we first got together, they told me that the other person is a friend with benefits. they later clarified that she loves them.
Recently, we talked about vacation, and I proposed something. She answered that agreeing without discussing that with her other partner would feel really bad for him, and that she wants to plan a vacation with him, first (they had had a fight because she mentioned to him that she wants to go on vacation with him several times, and he didn't really react to her wish. My proposal to go on vacation was unrelated to this, I had wanted to offer that anyway, but I am aware that from the outside, it could look like I am trying to make him look bad).
The thing is - if she is trying to manage his feelings around going on a vacation, I doubt that she will have a family with me. If "other partner gets to go on a vacation before me" is something unacceptable to her other partner, "other partner has a child with my partner" probably is so by a lot more.
I am uncertain how to navigate the situation, and how to create some clarity for all of us. I would approach this with patience, but my partner is 32, and I am 40, so I can't delay the family planning phase indefinitely.
Any advice on how to communicate lovingly, non-violently and constructively around this topic is welcome. Also advice on what you would do in my situation :-)

Now that we’re within 2 months of the album, I wanted to share all of my hearts deepest desires for this new experience
- São Paulo and Timeless were hype-building promo singles and not album material. I have a running theory that the masked single covers are supposed to be from The Weeknd while Hurry Up Tomorrow will be an Abel Tesfaye focused piece of work
- Fade to Black/Wake Me Up will be separated into two songs on streaming or Wake Me Up gets a single version
- Choir vocals in Take Me Back to LA are kept, as well as the riffing at the end from the São Paulo performance
- the title track is the end track and serves as a massive magnum opus grandiose ending to The Weeknd. I hope it’s a complete spectacle of music.
- OPN has created insane work for the album that we haven’t seen yet or was entirely focused on a movie soundtrack (which gets released onto streaming)
- 2 LPs!! Although I have some 45 minute albums that fit into one, hopefully it justifies that runtime if so.
- Mike Dean was given the chance to Mike Dean and offer some massive moments instead of just being a mixing guy
