First of all, zzzz (or z-z-z-z) is sound of snoring, from at least 1918. (Sometimes "a tiny saw cutting through a log" [1948] would be used, and both the snore and saw would make the same z-z-z-z sound.) Over time, this became associated with sleep in general, but most comic reference books (e.g. 2006's KA-BOOM! "Have you seen" implies that the person saw your glasses sometime in the recent past right up to the present moment. "Did you see" is asking if the person has ever seen your glasses, at any time in the past. It makes a big difference if you're looking for a lost pair of glasses. It wouldn't help much if the person had seen them four years ago. To summarise other people's answers, there are three uses of "I am seeing": Habitual in the present. However, I often hear the simple past used with "already" in conversation, as in "I already saw the movie." What is the status of this usage? Is it "acceptable", colloquial-only, really bad? It sounds really grating to my ears, but I'd like to make sure. Like the difference between: I saw the sun set (happened to see) and I watched the sun set (deliberately saw the action of the sun setting) I also think it has got to do with the object of the verb 'see' or to 'watch'. You 'watch' an action, something moving - while you 'see' a thing or a static object. "X, have you seen Michael" might be interpreted as "I haven't seen Michael today, I {wonder if he's here today/need to see him today}, have you seen him today?", whereas "X, did you see Michael" might be what you say if you already saw Michael, and when you saw Michael he told you that he was looking for X, so you wonder whether Michael did ... I am used to saying "I am in India.". But somewhere I saw it said "I am at Puri (Oriisa)". I would like to know the differences between "in" and "at" in the above two sentences. However we can certainly say that these distinctions in the definition are largely ignored in practical usage. Along with these three words, others like saw, maxim and apothegm could also be used interchangeably. Proverb, adage and maxim are the commonest from what I have encountered. I saw it on the news. I asked this on another website and someone told me that I should look at the word tumble , not on the news . However, if this is the case, then on the news is not a prepositional phrase and the news here is the objective of the verb tumble on . You see, the Past Tense has a definite time in the past. For example, the person saw you at exactly 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon; with the other, there is no definite time. You may wonder why is that important about what time in the past? Watch... *this is just a personal opinion and this is coming from a huge Pantera fan*
Pantera got me into metal when I was 12. Has been the most fun journey of my life.
However, I have noticed this almost disturbing difference in *most* fans.
I personally feel like there's 3 types of Pantera fans
1: The edgy "I was born in the wrong generation" Tiktok "save Europe" kids. While I thankfully don't run into these people in person much, I have seen how they have become a plague, especially in this sub. You can usually tell they are by their poor spelling, the use of way too much brainrot, and just general incoherence.
2: The racists. Holy fucking shit. I CANNOT believe how incredibly racist some of y'all are. The Abbott brothers and Rex would be mad disappointed (I don't know about Phil but y'know how he is sometimes). The fact that you believe that you have to be a piece of shit in order to listen to Pantera's music is insane. Racism is fucked up, in every form, to ANYONE.
- The chill ones. Y'all are amazing. You battle the first two on a constant and you stay true to the energy. Keep it up.

Started to get nobles and expanding and life was great. In one second, the land was 80% red and I was only getting 19 coin as payment. What did I do? Hello, I have a Bubble T - VLE problem where I need to implement the UNIFAC model to determine the activity coefficients and find values of T and Y as I vary the values of X and keep the pressure constant. My system is the binary mixture (1) ETHANOL + (2) CYCLOHEXANE, and I must account for ALL the non-idealities in both phases (liquid and vapor), meaning I need to calculate the fugacity coefficients (using the Virial equation truncated at the second term), POY, and activity coefficients (gamma). I am doing all of this in Excel. I have already implemented the entire UNIFAC method in the spreadsheet, but the issue is that I cannot find an objective function to solve the vapor-liquid equilibrium problem (I cannot find consistent values for Y and T using Solver). If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it.
