Hopefully this post helps someone else who may be banging their head against the wall because of perceived Kodi issues. A couple weeks ago I stopped getting links even with a paid service. I tried multiple fixes, updates, clearing caches, complete uninstalls etc, on two different android boxes. I finally figured out that my Kodi apps (add-ons) were being blocked by my Internet service provider (ISP). They allowed Kodi to download without any issues but would not allow the apps to download properly (missing dependencies, unable to connect to repositories etc.). After researching elsewhere, I found users in the states realized their ISPs were blocking them as well about a year ago. If you have a VPN installed, just turn it on and problem solved! I was able to download all the necessary software and everything worked perfectly! Not saying they are blocking all apps or add-ons, but they were definitely blocking the half dozen that I tried. I am in Ontario and this is with Rogers home Internet. On that note, F U Rogers!!
