I hosted my first Thanksgiving! I was scared I'd mess it up but the turkey came out excellent. I used so much butter. But we had mashed potatoes, stuffing, and the kiddo made greenbean casserole. My mother in law brought corn casserole and yams. It was a really nice dinner.
There was no fighting. No one was snarky. No forks thrown or plates smashed. We didn't have to have separate dinners. No one was mean.
I respect how much you worked on our meals. It's not easy. But do you know what is easy? Loving your neighbor without judging them.
You taught me a lot of things but you were an incredible bigot. My brothers are rapists. My father- well who knows? Your family was a house full of liars and cheats. You were cruel. You abused your privilege as a mother. You'd be pissed that I adopted the golden child's kid and helped him escape too. Yes. Him. I'm glad you're not here to taint his memories of you.
I'm glad I made my own family. One you'd have huge issues with but one I love. I don't have to worry about you shouting cult rhetoric at me anymore. I don't feel tainted or dirty anymore. I don't relate to The Hills Have Eyes anymore. I escaped you, that family, and our name.
You're dead. I recognize there were parts of you I miss. But you failed as a mother. You failed as a Christian. And you failed as a loving neighbor.
Fuck all of you. Thanks for hindering me my entire life. I am who I am despite you.
I'm grateful to everyone who showed me the way out of the cult. Showed me the road to healing. I am not grateful for all of you. I deserved better as a child.

My router is unfortunately placed very close to me when I sleep because there’s no other place I can put it.
I know it’s safe, but I can’t stop fighting the intrusive thoughts that radio waves are permeating my brain when the router is next to me when sleeping.
I have a panic disorder and cancer, so it’s a hassle dealing with the intrusive thoughts and panic when my neighbor told me WiFi causes cancer.

Hopefully this post helps someone else who may be banging their head against the wall because of perceived Kodi issues. A couple weeks ago I stopped getting links even with a paid service. I tried multiple fixes, updates, clearing caches, complete uninstalls etc, on two different android boxes. I finally figured out that my Kodi apps (add-ons) were being blocked by my Internet service provider (ISP). They allowed Kodi to download without any issues but would not allow the apps to download properly (missing dependencies, unable to connect to repositories etc.). After researching elsewhere, I found users in the states realized their ISPs were blocking them as well about a year ago. If you have a VPN installed, just turn it on and problem solved! I was able to download all the necessary software and everything worked perfectly! Not saying they are blocking all apps or add-ons, but they were definitely blocking the half dozen that I tried. I am in Ontario and this is with Rogers home Internet. On that note, F U Rogers!!
