okay so i'm doing a little bit insane about this SCP because the second i saw the picture of 'the Old Craggle Tree', i knew i'd seen it before. I'm not even joking. The Cragglewood Park apparently has these trees with humanoid/smiling faces, just like a theme park from my childhood had (granted, the theme park from my childhood had only one tree with a face, but still)
I'm Dutch and i'm talking about the theme park 'de efteling', which contains a section called 'het sprookjesbos' (or in english: the fairytale forest). It features a talking tree which tells stories to the kids, and the simularity was really uncanny. While reading the article, I genuinely thought for a second that maybe i was influenced by the SCP myself because that's how similar it was.

My partner and I have been in our apartment for about four months. Three weeks ago our neighbors we share a wall with started playing music pretty loud. When I say loud I mean if a can hear vibrations and thumping beats that means loud. I sleep with a fan on to drown out noise and have a lof of anxiety around my sleep habits. Even with the fan I can hear it and begin fixating on it. Well two weeks ago they started playing music past 12. I went over and politely asked them to turn it down a bit and things were a quiter for awhile and we let the leasing office know it was an issue for us the next time they did it. I have recorded it through the wall as evedicne as well.
Fast forward to yesterday and they played their music as loud as it has ever been until 3 am. I knocked three times last night and got no annswer at the door besides one frustrated roommate saying "f--cking again" through the door and they still did not answer the door. I left a note saying that playing music past 12 is rude and it effects my partner and I. Here is where I need advice as I am very non-confrontational and want to make the move that will not cause further strife.
They left a note todays saying their roommates did not answer the door and that they make mistakes and addressed differences in sleep schedules. Cool, I'm losing my mind while they listen to music. They also said to text them rather than go to the leasing office. I feel I have been straightforward that I cant handle msuic past 12 which I feel is generous. I feel like texting them may lead to drawn out issues without change and would almost prefer it not be so personal. However here I am at 1:20 and their music just began again and texting could alleviate the issue. Any advice is welcomed.

Corn farm just started today and it’s the first time I play it after a while. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy the event since my previous TMF strategy was nerfed because they unnecessarily capped TMF cost reduction to 10 in total per fight, even though the sole fact you had to roll a 50-50 to get a -5 reduction.
Though I start playing anyways, and find out that not only they nerfed TMF hard, but they also neutered the damn Corn Farm event. I had my fifth game trying to get a hang of a strategy, then out of nowhere the marauder barricade just stopped dropping items at all.
I understand giving the marauder Captain Molotovs to counter some units a bit, but what’s the reason to just stop rewarding players for playing at higher difficulties? The Corn Farm event is already rare as it is, on top of that you also make it unrewarding??? I dislike the direction this game is taking, because it feels that for every step forward the devs make ten steps back.
TMF didn’t need another nerf, they’re already nerfed as they are, give them back the 100% blast protection and uncap their cost reduction.
This move feels scummy, like very scummy, you clearly want players to spend money just to get more keys for game progression.
I tolerated having to spend two keys plus a green buck, I tolerated the nerfs to TMF, but this is just too much, you’re completely slowing down progression to a slog, and I fucking hate this, and I believe everyone hates this too.
Since it’s clear you’re planning to introduce more OP enemies with location 9, it’s all clear that you’re just trying to make the game harder and harder until it’s straight P2W.
Fix this.
