i wasn't a bright,brilliant child.I was very shy and scared of everything.I was completely different from other girls my age.Also i was mocked constantly even by my own family.They even criticized how i walked,talked and everything about me.Anyway back to our day;i believe i have a very low iq.I can't think fast,critically thinkink,i even lose at video games by stupid decisions. im 4'10 nobody acts like im an adult.I have never experienced what my peers experienced.Also doesn't help i have a overprotective mother who believes im incapable of doing anything on my own.I have wasted my life away.But i really don't want to live this life anymore i want to just die.I know i can make a change im 21 it's never too late but i feel like im incapable of making changes.  | Our 2story house had a huge temperature difference, almost 10degrees Fahrenheit. Our furnace is brand new, only 8 months old, house 10 years old. I called our HVAC guys and they told me that everything looks good and that heat goes up and won’t really do anything. We have to open windows upstairs to make it somewhat comfortable and downstairs gets just warm enough for our kids not to freeze. Any tips or tricks we can do to rectify this. I asked a few days ago for a written termination after being fired last week. I don’t know much about the laws of a termination needing to be hand written, but I just wanted a sentence or two stating why I was fired. They gave me a final payslip with the only mention of termination stating the date I was fired, as well as, “reason-termination”. I was verbally told that the reason was because of my mental health (no other reasons were given), and so I’ve asked for them to state that in a letter. Are they being suspicious, or do I not have legal rights to ask for a more detailed letter?

I have some characters down and some foundational undertones down but need an ACTUAL reason of conflict for my short story and i’m generating nothing right now.
For reference, my character is an impoverished 21 year old line cook who lives and works in downtown detroit. she is very attractive and has the same depressed, witty, and nihilistic personality of that of the late Anthony Bourdain (not to do with cooking though it would make sense lol). She was very smart in high school but couldn’t pursue college due to lack of determination, her own laziness, and also a lack of parents to help finance it and now works tirelessly almost every day to make ends meet. she has very suicidal world views and ultimately lives on the basis that she has no reason to NOT kill herself, yet she actively chooses not to for whatever reason.
I know this is extremely bare, but I need some other characters and possible conflict ideas to get this up and running, usually with past short stories I have had something in mind and ran with it, but right now I’m really stuck and need this done here soon. Any help or questions would be appreciated. Thank you.

I told my dentist I have really bad gag reflex and it’s not something that gets better with time for me. It’s awful to the point I’m constantly gagging and throwing up whenever I go out or at work, my dentist said keeping them out occasionally for a few hours wouldn’t hurt the process and I can cut my hours down if it makes it easier for me.
Would keeping my trays out 2-3 times a week for a few hours in one go affect my treatment at all? I only work twice a week and don’t want to force myself to keep the trays in when it’s affecting me physically. However the other days I wear them for 21-23 hours, mostly over 22.

I love them but why are we this far into the show and can't hear the videos / can't hear the guests.
I've gone back to some old episodes that I didn't finish over the break and I'm listening to Whitney Cummings and I thought the video paused - no it was the ad read. The volume was so far down that you couldn't even hear it. Trust me I prefer this to it being turned up but this is their actual income for the shows if there is one part that should be edited correctly for themselves it should be this.
I just hope whoever is in charge of it could just try a little bit.
