Silksong will not come out anytime soon, the community can’t figure out that the original hollow knight took 4 years+ to develop, Silksong will be much, much bigger. Silk song won’t come out anytime soon and that’s final. I have wept my tears and I have coped my share, but that’s the sad truth, and I embrace it, I am molded by it. Hi,
I see some mentions online of a similar problem but couldn't find a good solution. Hopefully someone here has some pointers.
We often have this situation where:
It's Dec 7, billing team gets a request to add a client that started on Dec1 and would like to get a monthly invoice on the 1st. Our main product has a monthly subscription fee.
In ideal world, I'd like Stripe subscription to immediately (on Dec 7) generate an invoice for Dec 1 - Dec 31 with a full monthly amount. And then next invoice to go out on Jan 1 as usual.
From my experiments on Stripe, backdating only works with prorations. However, prorations never seem to do exactly what we want. The main issue is that the total amount is always calculated and is slightly off from the monthly pricing.
Additionally, it seem like billing anchor doesn't allow being created on Jan 1, I get "Could not schedule subscriptionYou can not set `initial_billing_cycle_anchor` greater than one billing period into the future."
Has anyone dealt with something similar? Will we have to just implement that first invoice creation on our end or do it manually every time?

I started my business about 4 years ago, one-man band providing services to individuals.
My business is almost entirely reputation-based, I don't advertise and people find me by spreading the word (and my contact details) around. Most of the contact from new clients comes through WhatsApp or FB Messenger... on my private accounts.
When I first started, I couldn't really afford a separate phone/number, so my personal number is how people get in touch with me. I have WhatsApp Business but I also have friends and family on there.
Now, 4 years later... I am finally ready to hire somebody to help me, because I spend more time replying to messages and emails than actually doing work.
But now my problem is obvious - I can't hand over my comms to anyone, because they are also my personal accounts!
So... How can I detangle these things? Should I get a new business number, handled by an employee, and redirect people who text my now-personal number?
I'd rather redirect customers than personal contacts, as that phone number is also in the hands of my doctors and whatnot so I don't want an employee receiving a personal call of mine by mistake.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who made this mistake, so I welcome all advice!

In laws have practically new 2024 GLE with probably like 2500 miles on it.
They have buyers remorse with maintenance cost that they need to take care of.
They prepaid for 10 year service and 10 year warranty but thinks that of they get Acura, car that they always drove prior to Benz, it will save them a lot of money in long run. They say if nothing really breaks down, they may spend about $12k ~ 15k just on maintenance and services. They want integra.
They want my advice since I had both brands before, but not sure what to tell them.
I had Acura which lasted 120k miles with 2 battery change, 2 tire change, 2 oil change per year. Never broke down once.
My Benz only had 75k miles before I sold it, which didn't have any issue but I was paying like $1000 for just annual check up and basic services.
Should I back them up on selling it for Acura? They are mostly concerned of maintenance cost than the vehicle cost.
