I've mentioned a couple of times that this month I was tracking my fitbit's CICO figures and my own TDEE-based CICO figures to see how in/accurate my fitbit was at estimating my calorie burn. I'm doing the results a day early bc my husband is taking me out to dinner tonight and I'm going to eat whatever I want and not consider whether salt or sugar or whatever is affecting my weight the next morning.
I am F44, 178cm, weight on November 1st was 97kg. I get 10k steps a day and log 40-90ish active minutes a day (7 days a week), but aside from that have not been to the gym or pool this month. My resting heart rate is 54-56bpm. I have hypothyroidism (medicated and with my tsh at about 0.8) and a nexplanon contraceptive implant. I wear an Inspire 2 fitbit on my non-dominant wrist.
This experiment ran for 28 days. I used an online tdee calculator which gave me 2425cals a day TDEE.
I do NOT weigh and count fruit and veg, but I do set aside 300cals/day for them and I don't have more than one portion of anything within that allowance (banana one just gets eaten, banana two gets weighed and logged first).
During the 28 days I had three days off. On those days I ate more, but still logged all the calories. On two of them I basically ate around tdee plus a hundred calories or so. On one I ate nearly 4000 calories (Chinese food was over 2000 of that). I used the stats for all the days including those in my workings.
By subtracting what I ate from my TDEE I came to a 15,871cal deficit, which predicted a 2.06kg loss.
By subtracting what I ate from my fitbit estimate of my CO I came to a 27,536cal deficit, which predicted a 3.57kg loss.
I weighed myself this morning an I lost...drumroll please...3.3kg.
So my fitbit overestimated my CO by about 8%, which I feel is within a margin of error that normal daily fluctuations could account for.
My TDEE numbers underestimated my CO by about 38% which is too big to just be a hormonal fluctuation or a salty meal.
I am very pleased with my results. I am now in the overweight bmi category and no longer obese. I set my goals 3kg lower each time I smash one so I'm now 93.7kg and aiming for 91kg (we'll see how Christmas affects this!).
Going forward I intend to continue to aim to eat my TDEE -500, but I'm going to also keep my eye on the fitbit numbers and know that if I eat a bit more but it says I've still got that deficit, then it's likely mostly correct. 3kg/month is where I'd like my weightloss to be if possible, so I will continue to eat next month as I did this month - trying to stick to tdee-500 but allowing a little flexibility within fitbits estimates.
I hope this helps anyone who is looking at their fitbit numbers and wondering how to know if they're accurate. All bodies are different, so I encourage you to do your own experiment. If you're worried your fitbit is overestimating you can always stick to the tdee calories like I did until you know.

This has subject just scared the shit out of since 12th, but now that i started it, the fear started going off, the coaching educator is good, teaches in very fun way makes it interesting. but it has come back because I'm not able to link up topics and connect them enough to get it answered, its a me problem i know but I'm not able to conquer it. topics like monetary policy, fiscal deficit, even exchange rate and their interconnection is where i am lacking.... would be great if i can get some suggestions on how to just clear my basics and retain them so that i can solve questions.

Okay fair play, I'm a swiftie from South Africa so I'm not exactly the demographic that has a dog in this fight, BUT I love art and this beef had some of the best art in music that I've experienced. The way Kendrick Lamar writes is insanely complex and thoughtful and I love him so much. (I have a mental Venn diagram of swifties vs kenfolk and it's a circle)
But coming to the allegations of inflated number and streams and "why is NLU big again suddenly", it's actually not sudden at all. It's only summer in the Southern hemisphere NOW and we've been pomping that tune since it dropped and now even more. AFAIK there is major hip hop culture in south africa and some of the south American countries. Add into that the inclusion of Deyra Barrera on GNX AND GNX being a more commercially accessible album, I'll never question the hype or longevity of this beef and the art that came from it.
Kendrick Lamar is doing something in music that governments around the world can't - he's uniting everyone, with fun! NLU is as fun to sing along to as it is a scathing essay on culture vultures and how they disparage unity.
Anyway, just wanted to give my two cents because this is the Internet and my opinion matters.

After the issues Microsoft had this week, they caused our Universal Print printers to disappear from Azure. We've since added them back again but the original printers still show as available when searching for new "work or school" printers, despite not appearing anywhere in Azure that I can see.

I've been searching on this sub reddit for a similar post and couldn't find any similar request.
I like to go to the gym with my Apple Watch only, leaving my phone at home. I've been using the free Hevy app for this on my watch and so far it works very nicely. I can sync to my watch and check my progress when I'm back home. But I'm missing having some kind of information about my best performance in each exercise alongside the last weight-reps that are already showing. I need this to figure out what weight and how many reps I need to do in the current exercise. Last weight and reps are not enough for me, because maybe the previous week I was tired and I didn't perform optimally so that information is not that relevant.
I already put a ticket in the app but I never got a response.
Would anyone else be interested in a feature like this?
