I’m a female posting here because I’m at a complete loss and don’t know how to help my boyfriend anymore. Any advice would mean the world to me.
We’ve been together for 8 years, and 5 years ago, he was at the peak of his career—he became a millionaire. But now, he’s lost everything. And I mean everything! Most of it was due to close friends stealing from him and purposely sabotaging his business for YEARS out of jealousy, and family giving him bad investment advice for their own benefit. It’s been gut wrenching seeing his life unravel like a life time movie.
He comes from poverty and tried to bring those he grew up with along on his journey. But nepotism taught him a painful lesson, on why they say not to mix business with family & friends. The ambition and optimism that once drove him are gone. He feels like everything he worked for was a lie, and now he’s bitter, unmotivated, constantly living in the past, completely at a loss of how this happened and deeply pessimistic.
We are also expecting our first baby very soon. While we should be preparing for this exciting chapter. It’s mainly me preparing. He spends his days sitting in front of the TV. His struggles have stalled his life, our relationship, and even my life. There was a period of time where I gained a lot of weight because of our house environment. I’m doing my best to stay strong and not use his struggles as an excuse for my life.
I’m not working, so I can’t offer financial help. He doesn’t believe in therapy, and I don’t know how to emotionally support him anymore. This entire situation has been traumatic for both of us—I’ve developed extreme trust issues after seeing what he went through, It breaks my heart to hear some of the things he says. And I love him dearly.

Hello, iam using my GW4 classic for 4 months, iit is connect with bluetooth and wifi in initial days later on i used to turn off bluetooth in my phone and only turn on when i want to back up my data on watch to phone there on to cloud.
Later while i was connecting through this process, the watch was not getting connected to my phone instead says that a new phone is trying to connect. What ever i do it says to reset the watch. I did the rest and connected and paired as the watch is new.
In the past 4 months this happened for me nearly for 8 to 10 times. Everytime i have to reset the watch, install watch faces, realign everything to my use. I got fed up one last time and uninstalled everyhing (wearable app and samsung health app) on my phone and reset the watch there i lost my entire data of my workouts for four months.
I didnt know whether samsung backed up my data or i lost it by uninstalling the apps. Seriously uninstalling would not delete the backed up data in cloud.
The issue is still persistent and asks for reset, please if any one knows how to avoid this problem, so that when ever i want i can connect watch n phone by turning on bluetooth and never loose data.
(I use a Realme phone)

Hallo zusammen,
ich komme aus einem osteuropäischen Land (EU) und lebe seit 4 Jahren in Deutschland (Region Köln/Bonn). Bisher habe ich ausschließlich im privaten Sektor gearbeitet – vor allem in mittelständischen Unternehmen und Start-ups. Ich habe als HR-Sachbearbeiterin angefangen, später als Personalreferentin gearbeitet und schließlich ein kleines Team geleitet. Insgesamt bringe ich 7 Jahre Berufserfahrung mit.
Leider wurde ich kürzlich aus wirtschaftlichen Gründen von meinem letzten Start-up entlassen und bin seit Oktober auf Jobsuche. Dabei stoße ich jedoch auf einige Herausforderungen: Zum einen sind selbst in internationalen Unternehmen die HR-Abteilungen oft „sehr deutsch geprägt“. Obwohl ich fließend Deutsch spreche, hören die Leute natürlich, dass es nicht meine Muttersprache ist. Mein Akzent ist jedoch relativ neutral und wird meistens als angenehm empfunden. Trotzdem habe ich mehrmals Aussagen wie diese gehört: „Dein Deutsch ist wirklich sehr gut, aber wenn man in Deutschland geboren ist, ist das eben doch nochmal etwas anderes…“ – und das ist nur ein Beispiel. Zum anderen macht die aktuelle wirtschaftliche Lage die Jobsuche zusätzlich schwer, da es oft viele Bewerber für wenige ausgeschriebene Stellen gibt.
Diese Situation frustriert mich sehr, und ehrlich gesagt, habe ich Angst, dass ich zeitnah keine neue Stelle finde. Besonders belastend ist für mich der Gedanke, dass viele Absagen weniger mit meinen Qualifikationen zu tun haben, sondern mit der Tatsache, dass Deutsch nicht meine Muttersprache ist.
Deshalb überlege ich, ob ich mein Glück im öffentlichen Dienst (öD) versuchen sollte. Allerdings habe ich gehört, dass man dort oft unzählige Unterlagen für Bewerbungen einreichen muss. Meine Frage an euch ist daher: Sind die Bewerbungsprozesse im öffentlichen Dienst fairer? Oder ist es auch dort unwahrscheinlich, als "Ausländer" in der Personalabteilung eingestellt zu werden?
Ich bin für jeden Rat oder Erfahrungsbericht dankbar!

I’ve just done some really minor research and found that the two, especially in women. Often overlap eachother and are often confused with one another when people are being diagnosed. And I guess it just made me wonder what other peoples experiences with it are. Is anyone diagnosed with both? How do you find that works and affects you? The stigma around BPD is awful and it’s made me feel like my identification with it is wrong but I know this community is good at helping.
I also did a test which yes I know is unreliable!! But it was through a private health care to then further see if a diagnosis was worth it and I got “you have several signs of bipolar disorder”
Oh and for the people who did get diagnosed with both. How did you find it helped you? Did you think getting that further diagnosis was worth it or was it jsut another label for you?

I have always avoided drugs. That was a mistake.
I have always been a very anxious person and despite being very knowledgeable, my anxiety often gets in the way of kujituma. I am clinically diagnosed and have been on therapeutic meds which help, but are expensive.
Since campus, I have avoided drugs, like alcohol and weed. I have drunk on very few occasions and smoked weed once, I wouldn't say I liked it because I slept like I was depressed.
Anyway, yesterday I had a 4:20 session and after a few puffs, I decided to take a walk. I see this lady in front of me, I cannot see her face but she has a nice figure, dressed in very neat checked pants with a matching navy blue sleeveless top.
Her hair is a neat African afro, and her skin, light but more on the dark side, not rangi ya thao kind of light. I am curious about what her face is like but she is walking real fast. And the impressive part, she is moving her hands and waist round and about as though she's dancing to a hot beat.
At that moment, I realize; "damn The way I feel right now, I could actually talk to myself without being too self-conscious. I could even start a conversation with a random person." This lady's carefree attitude is a motivator. I look at her ears and cannot see any earbuds and now I am waaaay more impressed. Like she is singing and vibing to her singing, damn, the courage it takes.
She goes past a group of three women and doesn't even bother to say hello to them. She continues walking and I can see the women start gossiping pointing at her. Now my mind is blown. This goddess doesn't turn, she doesn't put her hands down or pretend not to be vibing. She goes on like she knows she doesn't own the world but at the same time doesn't care who owns it.
I get to the gossiping clutter and now hear what they say. One woman says; "Ghai, angalia ata hana viatu."
HOOOOOLD UP?? My goddess is Mathare-type crazy? I look at the lady's feet and goddamnit, she is walking in her socks. Barely 10 meters further, she is stopped by this guy who appears to know her and now he's asking where she's been.
I go past them and can't stop myself from laughing out loud. I was so motivated to be carefree like her. Anyway, I rarely have such encounters and I loved it. I also vibed hard with some random guys at a cyber cafe and a neighbor I had never seen.
I achieved so much unawkward social interaction in one afternoon, I like weed. Being a medic got me thinking so much about it though, I am eating like a starved hyena and I become super philosophical (almost like an acquired savant syndrome) while at it. I love high me and that could be a big problem.
