I’m having a hard time lately. Not so much with porn, but with very frequent urges to masturbate. I have brought up the issue with my wife about if she would feel comfortable if I were to masturbate without looking at porn but she said that she feels uncomfortable with the idea. I think she feels that it will end in me sliding back into old habits. I had to go to bed earlier than her tonight and I told her that if she was in the mood when she came to sleep to wake me up for sex (which didn’t happen when she finally did come to bed), but it took me forever to fall asleep because I was so wound up. I want to maybe talk to her about how maybe we can try something like if I tell her to wake me up if she wants to when she comes to sleep but she’s not in the mood to maybe send me a text with an emoji that can be a code word for “I am not in the mood, you may masturbate as long as you do not use porn”. I have locks on my phone for porn websites but I was checking another website for news on wrestling and one of the articles used extremely suggestive photos in the headline and it stirred up a lot of bad feelings for me. I feel like if I don’t have some kind of outlet for me that I’m going to slip up.
