2024.11.29 10:20 pipe-bomb the most pointless pug implosion
 | I just had the most baffling PUG interaction. We're in vet Depths of Malatar, going through just fine. The only weird thing was the tank and healer taking a good minute before getting started but the other dps and myself were patient and waited til they were ready to go. We get through the first boss great, no deaths, everyone knows mechs, making our way through adds quickly. Then after the part where you drop from the platform heading toward second boss the tank decides to start sprinting past everything leaving everyone else in the dust and drawing more and more adds (including the annoying 1 shotters) up to a spot where we can't even proceed until out of aggro and it's just complete chaos. Everyone including the tank is dying and the other dps makes that comment there asking why they're doing it. Then the healer starts trying to kick everybody putting up votes over and over again and being rude while asking us to kick them so they don't get penalty. At this point tank pops in and says "this game is boring" and I'm like what is going on and everyone just leaves. I've seen some stupid shit in pugs before but this seemed especially pointless! We could've been done with second boss and otw to third by the time everyone left. Also the healer in the midst of begging to be kicked and avoid penalty while saying we suck also says "if you don't kick me I'll go nb tnk" what does that mean?? Nightblade tank? But I thought you wanted to leave lmao what!! I love Bree, when I started watching the series she was uniquely relatable, I'm a sweet and kind young autistic girl, so it's easy to love and identify with Bree, but I didn't like her development in the second season, I hate this plot that sweet women and innocent people are easy prey for older men, it makes me sad, I'm so traumatized by this that I've always only liked men who are at most 1 year older than me. What did you think of Bree's direction? Notes: it has nothing to do with the subject of the post, but I don't think evan deserves bree, he's not a good guy just because everyone else is worse, piper's ex is genuinely much better than evan, at least he's sincere with himself and everyone around him, evan definitely doesn't deserve bree.

I don’t really post on Reddit and I’m not sure if this would be the right place so I do apologise for that. I would like to get into pc gaming but mainly for casual play due to the amount of options that pc has.
I’d play games like Xcom 2, elder scrolls and rts games that you can’t get on console and indie horror games like lethal company/back rooms sort of stuff. My budget is around £1000 Uk Stirling and I am not sure if I should get one pre built or build it myself (I know people love to build them and maybe it would help me understand the insides and what does what) does anyone know where I could start? 2024.11.29 10:20 Top_Peach6455 VHS to DVD brightness issue
I'm digitizing some old VHS tapes on a tight budget. These are off-air recordings I made years ago. I'm using a Toshiba SD-V280 for playback and connecting it via red/white/yellow RCA cables to a Cinevision RV4000 VCDVD recorder combo unit for recording. I've been very pleasantly surprised with the results, except for one recurrent problem...
During playback on the Toshiba, once in a while the brightness will drop out then return. I've attached a brief sample, heavily compressed for upload. This has happened with a few tapes. When I play them back in the Cinevision's built-in VHS player, there's no brightness dropout. (I don't like to do a direct VHS to DVD dub on the Cinevision because the VCR portion has inferior sound and picture quality, but the DVD recordings through the line-in are great).
Could this be as simple as needing new RCA cables? Unfortunately, the Cinevision doesn't have an S-Video in, so that's not an option.
The dropout happens at the 5 second mark.

Hello! Im trying to selfhost shlink on shlink.dnlweijers.nl. the GUI is accessible but shlink container keeps restarting so I cant connect. Im hosting it on my 192.168.2.175 server, using npm to put it on shlink.dnlweijers.nl (http://shlink-web-client:80).
