Ako na lang ba? Yung hindi pa rin mahanap ang motivation and drive para mag-aral? Feeling ko bawat araw na lumilipas, lumilipad na rin mga inaral ko kahit sa RC. I always feel the pressure every time makikita ko batch mates ko na they are studying hard pero hindi ko ma-push sarili ko. I have plans na “dapat magamay ko lahat ng concepts” pero hindi ko rin alam paano mag-uumpisa. There are times na “magsstart na talaga ako” pero kapag mismong araw na para gawin ko na, nawawala ulit yung drive ko. May insomnia ako kaya hirap talaga ako na starting 7 or 8AM ay nagrereview na. Hindi ko alam paano nagagawa ng iba na walang tayuan or hindi madistract habang nag-aaral huhu. Kapag sinisipag naman ako magreview, nagiging sakitin naman ako. Feeling ko nahuhuli na ako.

Simulatorā arī daudzīties mazāk sāp, kā dzīvē. Un krišana būs, un daudz.
(Atceramies, ka šie NAV DJI produkti. Sapratnei, tuvākais salīdzinājums būtu, ka DJI ir jaunākais ielas vāģis ar parkošanās palīdzību, kruīza kontroli un vēl miljons ekstra fīčām. Droši, ērti, bet nu, tikai pa pilsētu, ievērojot noteikto ātrumu. FPV drons šajā gadījumā ir rallija vāģis - mums ir brutāls karkass, pašu prasmes un tas, ka visu viegli remontēt. Un viss. Toties, var dragāt tā, kā maz neliekas pa visurieni.)

Ja būsi ticis tik tālu, kādas 20-30 stundas nolidojis simulatorā, un papētījis tos avotus ko es Tev saliku, tad uz to brīdi gan jau ka būs pašam skaidrība ko un kā tālāk. Un apsveicu, tavas iespējas dienestu aizvadīt plus mīnus ciešami ir krietni palielinājušās. Nu, un arī iespējas gan izdzīvot pašam, ja nu sākas sūdi, gan arī būt patiešām reāli noderīgam mūsu valsts aizsardzībā - pēc tā, ko esmu redzējis Ukrainā, šiem te FPV sprāgstošajiem droniem ir nu MILZU nozīme mūsdienu konfliktā. I am really struggling with PPA, I think it stems from being a children's nurse and working in children's intensive care units and children's Hospice. I always seen worse case scenarios and things that are rare seem very common to me. I know every baby will come into contact with RSV by the time they are 1 year old and will likely be fine however in my head I have seen so many babies not be fine and end up ventilated and sedated for weeks due to bad infections. I have also nursed babies infected with HSV from being kissed.
So here's my issue; I am very over protective, I don't want anyone but me and dad to hold our baby. My friends are very understanding and as I'm so close to my parents I can tell them no and they don't get offended. Sometimes I need help and my mum or dad will take her for a few minutes while I run a bath for her or they will change the odd nappy for me but they don't Lift her without asking and will respect my boundaries. My partners mother on the other hand gives me major anxiety. She is the nicest woman and I am very fond of her, she's a great grandmother but there have been a few occasions where she has kissed my baby on the face, she also picked her up once when I asked her not to as I said I was worried about everyone being unwell recently, she said 'I'm fine I've had my vaccines' and proceeded to pick her up. She wants to come round weekly to see the baby and it reallllly stresses me out, as I know she just wants to hold her and I feel under a lot of pressure to let her. I have explained to her my anxieties but I just don't think she gets it? My partner thinks I'm being a bit over protective and thinks if I let my mum take her I should let his mum too and I know that but I'm hoping some other mums out there can agree that it's just different with your own mum?
I also have an auntie who doesn't seem to get it and laughs about my anxieties. She lifted her off me so quick one time I didn't have time to stop her then she refused to give her back to me when I asked (while my baby cried) I literally had to reach across a table and pull my baby off her.
It's RSV season and I'm aware that PICU is full of sick babies with RSV and I'm terrified. Am I being crazy if I don't let anyone hold her?

2024.11.29 10:30 Nice-Scallion5752 UPDATE: mil insistent my daughter is regressing
Hi all
Quick update after my recent post. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who responded. I needed that reality check.
We are going to remove my daughter from the daycare once we find an open spot in the right setting - we’re on multiple waiting lists for daycares closer to us, so as soon as one opens up, she’ll be going there.
We went in to the daycare, me and my partner, to see how our daughter interacted with the staff and other kids there. I don’t think I said in my original post, but she’s the youngest child attending (she’s 2 and most of the other kids are 4 and about to start proper school). My daughter loves playing with everything there, was so excited to show us around, was playing with other kids on the climbing frame.
The staff were quite evasive on this visit, saying they don’t think there’s anything to worry about, and I received a copy of their notes from the meeting where none of the more concerning things they said were written down. We also said that MIL is not to be involved in any more meetings. Don’t get me wrong, my daughter will not be attending this daycare long term and I’m not impressed with the staff, but she enjoys playing there for the couple of hours a day she does go.
Obviously all of this has caused a huge rift with MIL. I haven’t seen her or spoken to her since it all went down. I think some of the comments on the post made me realise that she had really fed into my feelings of insecurity about being a mother, and I had sleepwalked into this split custody arrangement as I felt I was unfit - I had severe PPD, which I am receiving help for. Actually taking the time to think about it, I’m not a bad mother. Am I the best mother in the world? No, but my children are happy, healthy, fed, clothed and very loved. My daughter thrives when she’s with me, and obviously doesn’t with my MIL, if what she said is to be believed.
It also made me realise how much my MIL was “playing mommy” with my daughter. Luckily (?) my BIL and SIL who live with MIL are due their first child in January, so I am kind of hoping she’ll direct that energy there.

2024.11.29 10:30 unevoljitelj Weird issue on gt4 with chest strap, any ideas?
Optical sensor on gt4 works fine but i got chest strap for bike so i can have watch on the handle bars.
The strap it self works fine and heart rate is recorded and activity is saved. BUT, any activity recorded with chest strap will not be counted on activity circles or app itself, its there as an activity but thats it, isolated. When watch is on the hand and i use watch to measure hr, its counted in circles and everywhere else. I mostly use strap for indoor cycling and didnt go in depth with it yet.
Anyone have a clue what is this about or how to fix it? Or if i should use maybe different activity or whatever?
Also indoor cycling has only one page of deatils in activity. Kinda bad compared to walking or running. Any way to change this?
