I have several question is for writers who lack a knack or interest in worldbuilding as an existential pleasure:
- Would you ever be interesting in writing in a sufficiently liberally licensed world that someone else created?
- How would you go about finding such a world?
- Do you write in a world just because it is popular? Because it vibes with you? Because it's obscure and you are hoping to make it popular?
- Would such a world draw anyone beyond fanfic writers?
- Is there a market for pitching worlds to prospective authors/studios/publishers?
- If there is such a market, what are the problems with them?

My GF (23F) and I (25M) have been seeing a friend (22F) for a while now and this friend just now indicated that she wants to move in the direction of seeing someone else (who’s monogamous) long term.
While me and the friend initially started out as strictly FWB, when my partner got involved later down the line everyone admittedly got a bit into the fantasy of being a throuple even though we knew our friend wanted a primary partner for herself. At this point we kind of blurred the lines about what we were, but just decided to have fun and live in the moment. The way we’d all flirt with each other (our friend saying things like “our girlfriend is so beautiful”) just made our hearts flutter.
We always knew that the possibility that she finds someone was there, but we’re still in shock at the life change we’ll have to make since my partner and I got so comfortable with her. It feels like just yesterday when our friend even mentioned that she was in the talking stages with someone else.
We don’t really have anyone in our lives that really understands the situation (heck we don’t really either) and just wanted to vent about how hard it is understanding these emotions. We’ll all still be friends, but my partner and I feel like we’re being broken up with.
It’s a classic ENM problem where we feel guilty for feeling heartbroken in a secure relationship. This friend was my GF’s first lesbian experience (and our friend’s first positive lesbian experience) and we all had incredible chemistry together, so it feels like a piece of us is being taken away. Not sure how to properly cope here, but I’m at least grateful that everyone involved was able to enjoy this unique experience for the time it was there.

Hi, I'm writing this from my second phone, yall can call me J. I'm currently stuck living with my religious parents because they pulled me out of University and forced me to move back into their home after they found out I was way and that my Uni was a Pride supporting institution. My parents have been trying to reform me for the last few months, forcing me to read the Bible, repent, go to church, etc. They cut me off from most of my friends and threatened to press charges against and take them to court (my university HOD included because he tried to help me) if I even think about leaving. They took a lot of my things from me too.. phone, laptop, cash, etc. Deleted a lot of my contacts and emails and a lot more. One thing they didn't get though is my drawing tablet.. which I've kept hidden out of fear of losing it to them.
Recently I decided that I want to get away from, especially after their last "lesson" (them yelling at me and calling me useless and such) where they told me to go kill my f****t self.
I really want to leave.. and am willing my drawing tablet to do so. I'm trying on ebay but no one is interested. I don't where else I can put this thing up to sell on. So if anyone here knows where else I could maybe put it up for sale on or someone who would buy it from me, it would help tremendously to get an apartment for myself.
Sorry to come here for this.. but I honestly have nothing and nowhere else left.
