2024.11.29 11:32 RiseReal2016 First show on theatremix and have a maybe 3 questions (1 is more of a problem to solve!)
So... I've just started using theatre mix today. Had a few questions and a problem I need help with!
- I ended up with theatre mix on a really unusual crazy children's gig (sound designer specified it). Basically, the client runs the same show multiple times, with different cast members. Original brief was that there was two versions of the show. A full cast of 20 and a small cast of 15. The old reductions in cast size come from ensemble sizes. So we made a TM file for each version with the mic list we were given.
I texted the other sound operator who's gotten the most cast reductions for when he comes in (from 15 mics to 7). His response was that he had to replot the whole show and make a new script.
Don't ask me how it works dramatically, it still kinda did. But having to mix the show with a live audience after one tech rehearsal was pretty wild... Meant that I didn't care about the story and just tried to survive.
- Rescanning for console doesn't work after I fire up each cue. I seem to have to manually key in my desk's IP each time. Am I missing something? Desk is X32, we go through an unmanaged switch.
- I thought it was a feature, and maybe I'm doing it wrong. But is there a way to save and recall input channel fader levels?

I'm on day 9 and I have a lot of anger, especially with one of my friends who smokes all day, I hate that he pretends to have "good energy" when I know he can't spend 1 day sober because he's a fucking idiot who treats people badly everyone, but when he's stoned he's the guy with the most good energy, he gives you advice, etc., I don't know why but it bothers me a lot, he's a great friend, I really like spending time with him and a lot of his advice was good, but right now where I'm trying to leave the marijuana I don't know what to do, I don't want to stop being his friend but I think I need to get away for a while

I woke up at about 2 am and drank mugwort tea I'd set aside the night before. here's what happened. it didn't take long for the effects to happen, even after about ten minutes I could tell it was taking longer to fall back asleep. My thoughts never turned off, it never felt like there was a gap where I fell asleep, all of a sudden it's four hours later and my alarm is going off. it felt like I hadn't fallen asleep but I also felt pretty well rested. I didn't remember that I had a dream until half an hour later. the only part I remember is a fat ginger dude telling me he was GOING to fart on my face. I told him no and tried to run away and that's all i remember so far.

y wife on or round 2010 exchanged the title to her friend Julie for a loan of $10,000. My wife has passed, I have the car,, have paid for keeping it on the road,, insurance, temp registration,, and Julie will not accept any calls, or text, and sent two certified letters to her and they wee not returned.I have asked her if there was still a certain amount of dollars left on the loan,and if so,,, I would need to see the cash receipts. Now there's nothing from her. I now have the car bonded. Question: Will the DMV try to contact her through investigations. Because of this scenario, or is it like probate where there's a time frame for the lien holder to come forth. She has the title so I assume there's some debt......Maybe she gave it back to my wife and I haven't found it.Wife never told me word one about paying off the loan, or if it was returned. This could stretch out, unless there's something about DMV procedures I'm not aware of. Might anyone know the answer?
