Iâm [24M], and I was in a relationship with my ex (23F) for [3.5 years]. I recently broke up with her because of ongoing conflicts, her accusations, and disrespect, which I believe were unfair.
During the argument that caused the breakup, I tried to explain my perspective and show how her actions didnât align with my values and were consistently contradictory, with double standards and unfairness. Despite this, she kept saying, âYou donât understand me as usual.â Why is it that when I try to logically and respectfully explain things, she keeps saying that I donât understand her?
I pointed out that the main issue arose from her behavior, but instead of addressing the problem, she started gaslighting, contradicting herself, and applying double standards. She accused me of being a cheater and disrespecting her by saying, âYouâre allowing girls to approach you, and you show interest in them by liking their pictures.â Keep in mind those pictures were innocent and not provocative, and my colleagues were uploading them. However, I explained myself and told her itâs normal on social media and not in the way she thought. Interestingly, she was doing the same things she pointed out and even allowed her male colleagues to look at her pictures on Instagram and allow them to like them. Keep in mind that her pictures werenât provocative. When I pointed that out, she refused to label herself with the same accusations she threw at me. I told her, "If you want me to fix this and respect you, you should apply and allow the same standards to yourself."
I solved the main conflict by proposing a fair solution based on what we both shared and the values we both discussed. She proposed a solution where both of us would delete our male and female colleagues, and I accepted. After the discussion, I told her that I agreed with the solution she proposed, but I also added that, moving forward, neither of us should interact with the opposite gender from our colleagues on social media or real life unless necessary or something official. However, she gaslighted me and denied proposing such a solution, even after I showed her the message where we agreed on it. She kept deflecting, called me "bossy," and said she didnât want to live in a box. I responded by telling her, âYou are not a child, and you should be responsible for what you said.â Despite all of this, she still couldnât take responsibility for her actions.
Furthermore, she had previously told me that guys didnât matter to her anymore, but later admitted that they did matter and that she could benefit from them by getting "news" from them. I pointed out that if it was official news, she could get it from her colleaguesâ batch WhatsApp groups or from her female colleagues. This contradicted her earlier stance, and when I questioned her, she didnât reply. Instead, she said, "People will think Iâm with a bossy partner, and I donât want that." Like, what?
She called me bossy and kept contradicting herself, gaslighting me, and applying double standards. In reality, her actions did not align with her own principles and values. Even after I gave her what she wanted and proposed a fair solution, she still couldnât acknowledge my perspective. She didnât respect me, and even after I corrected her and showed her everything, she still couldnât take responsibility for her actions. After all that, she said, âYou donât understand me as usual.â
Why did she say this? Is it a deflection tactic or an emotional manipulation strategy?
TL;DR: My ex kept saying, âYou donât understand me as usual,â during arguments, even after I calmly and respectfully explained and addressed her points logically. Why do people say this, and how should I interpret it? She accused me of things that were unfair, and after I showed evidence and solved the main conflict with a fair solution based on what we both shared, she still didnât listen. When I showed her proof of our agreement, she gaslighted me and denied it. She also contradicted herself by claiming that guys didnât matter, but later admitting that they did and could benefit her by providing ânews,â which I told her she could get from her colleaguesâ batch WhatsApp groups or from her female colleagues. When I called out her hypocrisy, she didnât reply, instead deflecting by saying, âPeople will think Iâm with a bossy partner, and I donât want that.â

Hello, I've been using stremio + torrentio + alldebrid since more than a year. I use it on my pc and on google chromecast stick (the latest one). I've never had a single problem with this configuration, but since a couple of days, every stream is gone. I don't find anything, even for shows that I was already watching. For example, I was watching Slow Horses 4 days ago, and the next day i couldn't find a single episode of the serie.
The same things happens on pc and on chromecast.
Instead of the list of streams, now I only see options to see the film/serie on legal platforms (netlfix, amazon...). Something new, because i've never seen such options before.
Seems like the police raided my stremio..... :D

Iâd like to see if anyone has a thought on this issue. The Radio, two actually, were working fine prior to Installing Starlink.
They have been Powered Down. A Factory Reset has been performed.
They will connect to the Network. They will connect to the WIFI, in one case â the other is hardwired.
They will place Music for a few minutes and then stop Streaming.
The Display which normally would show Music Bars would then show Three Dots.
Any Comments?

lesson learned: donât read your pathology report and tell people what you think it means.đŹ Overall, itâs still a very good situation. The lymph nodes are benign and original tumour margins are clear!! (Best news ever !) đ„ł However.. I need to go back for a little more surgery. As the margins were not clear for the surprise tumour. (found unexpectedly while looking at the tissue removed) To me , this is happy accident in many ways because while theyâre in there next week âŠtheyâll remove the hematoma from the original surgery, which has been causing most of the pain! A win-win!
After that, radiation & hormone blockers will help prevent this slow growing cancer from happening again! đđŒđ
