So this is going to be a long post, so I apologize. So I just turned 30 today and to be honest it is one of rhe worst days of my life. It's not terrible, no harm befell me or anything like that but.....it's the first birthday that feels real. The first one that makes me feel like my time on this planet is limited and I look back and I hate what I have done with my life.
At 30, I have nothing to show for it. I have no partner or significant other, even haven't dated in ages. Not that someone would even date me which is fair. I have been dealing with depression, and isolation for a long time. A lot of self hateful thoughts and low self esteem, so no wonder a woman wouldn't be interested.
No family of my own which I had hoped to have, so life is lonely. So very, very lonely and I have a hard time reaching out for help/building friendships. So I hide from the world with my cat like a loser.
My mental health issues are really destroying my self esteem and I know I am a burden to those around me. Even to my parents and brother who say they love me but I feel like the moment they know what's in my head that they won't anymore. They could easily leave. Especially as I have been having concerns over my gender and whether or not I am transgender or not.
Everyone seems to have their lives together more than me. All my old friends and the like are married, have kids, own houses, etc. What do I have? Depression, anxiety, gender issues, body image issues (despite going from 220 to 150 lbs and keeping it off for almost five years), the list goes on. All my trans friends have partners or resources or pass so well as their desired gender, that I feel just pathetic.
I don't know what to do. I started therapy and it's all pain and suffering. Might need antidepressants, who knows or cares. I am trying to improve but it's not enough. Nothing seems like enough? Everyone has stuff that matters more than me for what I have. I know it's stupid since I have accomplished stuff. Got a BSN at 22, have no debt, have close to 300k in assets. My job is stressful but it does good, I save lives. I am not objectively the troll I think I am but it doesn't seem to help with my mind. What good is that if I am fucking sad and miserable?
I don't know......adulting sucks. It seems like I should have my life together and I feel like the exact opposite.

However, I can't find the correct permissions to set to change OU's, specifically in Powershell with:

2024.11.29 12:32 _V10L3T__ What gave me peace about this whole thing
Last night, I was talking to one of my friends who has been following this whole N situation with me for a while and he made a really good point that gave me a lot of peace about this whole mess.
We all know that for years, N has been using people for clout, money, power, etc. And he always managed to profit off of people, which has been infuriating.
So isn’t it amazing how karma works…
Because now, he’ll be the one on the other end, being used as a lolcow. He’s the one who will be used as a cheap toy for others, just like he has done to his victims for years. It’s so fitting that his consequence to how he treated others is to be treated the same way.
They say that you get what you give but it comes back tenfold, and I think this is what’s happening here.
Karma always wins…

I’m a student with about 70 hours on checkride prep. I went up solo the other day to work on maneuvers. When I was getting ready to return to the airport, I got the ATIS and there was a wind shear warning. Wind shear is not something that I have encountered w my instructor and hearing it definitely didn’t make me feel super comfortable. I tried to give my instructor a call, and another instructor at the school to see if I should divert to another airport, but neither picked up. While in flight I also realized the GPS was not working properly so I didn’t feel super comfortable diverting. I decided to head back regardless.
I knew to add some speed to my approach and come in with less flaps, which is what I did. Approach was definitely bumpy and airspeed was jumping around a bit, but all things considered it went well and had a smooth landing in the end.
I felt really uncomfortable in the moment, but I think mainly because I didn’t know if what I was doing was unsafe or not. So my question for you guys is, was I actually in any danger?

I'm 24 and live in England luckily right in the countryside as I love going out on walks with my dog in nature! Luckily I'm surrounded by lakes, rivers and hills. Plenty of cool places to chill or go camping which I do occasionally, have fires and marshmallows which is fun :) do enjoy photography and cycling too so in blend in well together!
Love tattoos recently got my sleeve done so now onto the other arm soon enough thinking legs after that and may e hands if I'm brave enough 😂
Play ps5 sometimes but got bit bored of it so got a quest 3 vr headset which is pretty sick! Horror games on there pretty terrifying though!

I am Hawksearcher, a composer posting on behalf of a client. We are in the early process of hiring a singer, and would like to get some quotes for a 2-minute song that involves a little voice acting in the intro, singing, and then some chuckling at the end. The song will be in a sort of "creepy carnival"/Electro swing style, and it's about my client's original character: a court jester who is bent on taking over the world.

What kind of experience/equipment level do you have and are you looking for?
We would prefer someone with moderate to high levels of experience in both singing and cleaning/editing their own vocals (only to remove artifacts. I'll be doing the mixing/mastering).
Are you looking for a singer or instrumentalist?

Are lyrics, melodies or other creative efforts required/requested?
The song will already have lyrics and a melody established. I will have a demo voice to serve as an aid.
Specify what compensation will be provided, financially or otherwise. If it is just for fun then say so.
We are shooting for a budget of about $50-70 (flexible) for a 2-minute song for a single melody line. If you are able to offer extras such as double tracking or some harmony work, that would make your offer more competitive. We are thinking about releasing this on my unmonetized YouTube channel, and you would be allowed to release the finished track on your own socials as well.
