2024.11.29 12:54 AstolfoFemboyWeeb Pancake lenses and micro OLED are not a good combination
For these compact Vr headsets we need a different display than micro OLED. Like a much brighter one like mini led or micro led if those ever will be a thing for vr. Because OLED displays aren’t known for being very bright and polarizers in pancake lenses take away a lot of that brightness. While the blacks were really good the colors didn’t really pop in or shine so bright in dark scenes and sometimes everything just got too dark where I couldn’t see
I purchased the Pimax Crystal Light recently and was way more impressed with that headset than my beyond because while the blacks weren’t quite as good as my BigScreen Beyond the contrast was much better with Qled local dimming. I was BigScreen with my crystal light and started feeling like I was in an actual theater. The screen was really bright and just showed up very well in the dark background.
Literally the only advantage my beyond has over my crystal light is the darkest blacks which means very little to me since I play mostly games with bright scenes and I prefer brighter colors.
Hopefully in the future we get light and compact displays that are way brighter than OLED to counteract the brightness loss in pancake lenses. I respectfully could care less about perfect blacks. Black levels aren’t everything when it comes to incredible color and visual quality.
After using my Pimax Crystal Light I don’t think I’m touching my bigscreen beyond for a long while.

I'm buying a resale plot in a gated society. The land has a borehole which is now not permitted in RERA projects. When I asked the owner, he said the borehole was done before RERA came.
I'm interested in this property as he's selling for cheap and I won't have to pay for electricity connection, club membership etc which amounts to around 4 Lakh. Also I'd be saving money on house construction permit, the owner was constructing it but someone in his family died so they couldn't afford the construction.

2024.11.29 12:54 Desperate-Current559 Good morning! Y’all I’m hoping you can help since I can’t find a doc that really knows what’s up. Since starting 5 the fatigue is crazy. I’m three months in and want to start exercising but just want to lay down instead!
So what did yall do? I’m still losing… and I had all my vitamins checked and will start taking some vitamin D (it was 20 so not terrible) but I’m still so tired all the time. Last shot I also had some pretty bad vertigo and a tiny bit of nausea and general ick feeling. It was only my second shot of 5mg and I’m still not even sure if the vertigo was related. But overall, I’m nervous to take the third shot this weekend. Please tell me it gets better and I’ll feel like my old self again! I’m losing weight and I want to enjoy it!

Sometimes I feel like I’m trapped by my own inability to refuse others. Whenever someone asks for my help, I always end up saying yes—even when I know deep down that it’s not what I want. It’s not that I don’t want to help people, but I hate how automatic my agreement is, like I don’t even have a choice.
I’ve been reflecting on this and wondering why I find it so hard to say no. Maybe it’s because I fear disappointing others or being seen as selfish. Or perhaps it’s because I value harmony and don’t want to create conflict. Could it be that I’ve tied my self-worth to being helpful, to feeling needed?
The frustrating part is that every time I say yes against my will, a small part of me feels resentful—both toward the person asking and toward myself for not standing my ground. It’s a cycle that’s exhausting, and it makes me dislike this aspect of my personality even more.
I want to be someone who can set boundaries, who can say no when it’s necessary, and who doesn’t feel guilty about it afterward. But how do I break out of this pattern?

My mood became stable, anxiety disappeared, but I started feeling like in a dream, very tired, apathetic, depressed.
Dr decided to change sertraline to fluoxetine (prozac). What are your experiences with this med? Really hoping it will work better that sertraline.
