2024.11.29 12:30 Lost_in_here Cat ate a feather 3 weeks ago, could it take that long to cause problems?
He wouldn’t eat last night or this morning. Barfed up a giant hairball a few days ago and was fine after but hasn’t eaten in 12 hours now.
We got two new kittens about 6 weeks ago and put the Feliway away a couple days ago but no other major changes in the house.
Wondering if the feather could be causing issues this long after he ate it.
Thank you for any advice. Will call vet if he doesn’t eat today.

I started my starter on Tuesday, and ever since then, whenever it’s time to feed I’m noticing like a half inch of hooch. My last starter didn’t do this, so I’m not sure what’s going on. I started with wheat, and continued to do wheat for two days then yesterday switched to regular flour thinking that may have been it, but this morning alas, the hooch!
