2024.11.29 12:30 DazzlingPoptarts I’m struggling more than ever
Hello. I tried posting in “Vent” because it seems like when I ask for advice I don’t get it and I hate sounding whiney. But I’m becoming desperate so I’m giving this another shot. I’ve tried before but I guess due to the length of it it was ignored, on here and fb. Please, if you have the time and understand what it’s like to feel like you shouldn’t be alive anymore….
I am 31 y/o female mother of b/g twin two year olds. I grew up with a single mother who handed me off to friends and family often and eventually employees working at beach stores and gas stations so she could go out and have fun. She was beautiful and everybody loved her. She was an alcoholic and very mean to me when she drank, she screamed at me nightly and often hit me/pulled my haithrew things and once hit me in the face with a shot gun and another time broke my wrist when she found me hiding from her. I stayed a mommies girl no matter what. I guess this is the beginning of my issues. She dated a man in the army when I was two and if he wasn’t deployed elsewhere he watched me, he wanted custody but never had time to make it happen, he saved me and was the mother and father I needed in one. He’s now homeless and sick. Not being able to help him is killing me daily.
On top of this I’ve only bonded with one of my children. My daughter has got me wrapped around her finger which is strange because we really wanted a boy. It seems like no matter what I do I can’t get along with him or develop a soft spot for him.
I’m never healthy. I’ve been suffering bulging/herniated disks in my neck for about 7 months and recently got whiplash on top of it. A few days after the whiplash, my car was broken into and all of my money was stolen while I was cleaning somebody’s house. I assume due to all of this severe stress I’ve gotten a trombone hemorrhoid, no this is not the first time, but each time it is excruciatingly, painful and hard to live my day-to-day life, especially when the neck pain is often causing migraines.
I’ve also been suffering, severe dry skin for 5+ years with painfully chapped lips, no matter what I do, and embarrassingly, dry, scalp or dandruff, my dermatologist never has any idea what’s wrong with me and just doesn’t seem to care.
On top of all this, I am now having issues peeing, I’ve had bloodwork done and I do not have a UTI, I never have but I’m going up to eight hours without being able to empty my bladder and as if I wasn’t sleeping enough now I’m really not so I’m often delirious and beyond miserable .
I know this is unorganized, but it’s because I’m trying to keep it short, but it’s really hard when there’s literally so many problems, I’m finding it hard to find a reason to be happy other than my daughter and my dog . I’m 115 pounds but I’ve usually been about 120 or 125. I am constantly losing weight, but if I don’t take my Adderall, I am an idiot at work and I’m probably honestly on the verge of being fired.
I’ve got a counselor. I’ve gotten amazing Doctor Who sent me to an endocrinologist recently, and I do not have diabetes, what is wrong with me and why is my body failing so miserably.?

Bom dia.
Recentemente fui aprovado num Concurso Público, e acredito já estar próximo de ser nomeado. Já realizei a etapa de exames médicos, e existe a previsão de que o órgão faça a nomeação em dezembro.
Enquanto não sou nomeado, eu continuo atuando no meu trabalho em regime CLT. Eu avisei informalmente ao meu gestor que tive essa aprovação, e que por não ter confirmação de fato do órgão, eu não consigo definir que dia eu irei sair. O meu gestor disse que eu posso pedir o aviso prévio agora, porém serei descontado dos dias que faltarem para completar os 30 dias.
A questão é que o órgão pode alterar a previsão, nomear em outra data, e então eu estaria sem emprego e sem concurso. Apesar de ser bem provável que me chamem em dezembro, isso não é garantia nenhuma, e mesmo assim, caso eu pedisse desligamento agora, a empresa ainda me descontaria alguns dias de aviso prévio.
Eu conversei com amigos e eles me disseram que sempre quando apresentaram uma carta de emprego do novo empregador, o trabalho antigo sempre abria mão de cobrar o aviso prévio. Eu busquei na internet alguma justificativa legal para tal, porém não encontrei nenhum texto explícito que me proteja da empresa cobrar o aviso prévio nesta situação.
Nos casos dos meus amigos, não acredito que tenha sido por "bondade" do RH, e sim que a empresa deve ter medo de levar algum processo trabalhista. Mas não encontrei na internet qual seria o embasamento legal para processar a empresa caso eles não me eximam do aviso prévio. Eu também não quero chegar a tal ponto, só quero saber os meus direitos, e conseguir argumentar de volta, para não depender apenas da "gentileza" do RH.

As an intro: I am a total amateur and largeIy shoots birds, general landscapes and a bit of everything that catches my eye.
I have a D7200 with the Sigma 150-600mm lens.
I understand that Lightroom is the industry standard for post processing - also because it works with RAW. However LR is too expensive for me.
I have come accross Pixlr. It doesn't work with RAW but the PNG format - which is a bit better than JPEG.
I have looked NX-studio but am struggling with it.
Any feedback on Pixlr? Or any other options out there?
