I'm renewing my mortgage for the first time after 5 years, I live in Nova Scotia
below is my current and new rate
I know I won't get near that 2.84% but I wanted to get your thoughts on if this is a decent rate and with my mortgage payments pretty low already and even the increase isn't bad whatsoever if you were me would you go through going to the bank or calling to discus a lower rate or would you accept the 1,73% increase?

I only work for around 4hrs in J1. Looking around for OE opportunities pero I cant find one. Kaya in the meantime I'm just trying to upskill and create random projects.
And then last week, I was referred by an old friend in J2. But daming cons, I had to pass on that opportunity. Wala masyadong benefits aside from HMO.
Biggest con for me, ill be working with 1 other colleague bale 2 lang kami sa team and were both a Junior role lol. Looks like theyre hiring "juniors" giving them senior level tasks while paying them an entry level salary. Autopass sakin, sabi rin ng friend ko minsan may pinapagawa daw yung heads na need matapos asap, and for them the workload is 10/10 and kadalasan nag-OT pa sya, di rin maganda paningin nya on that company. Mukhang hindi OE-compatible and masisira lang sched ko pag inaccept ko iyon
I got the JO, interviews were pretty on point on my end. Ok lang yun at least napractice ko ren interview skills ko.

Picked these up for a steal, the white soles need a little cleaning, other than that the sneakers are in great great shape and condition. One of my grail releases.
Might switch the laces to a light denim blue colour to match the colourway, but still undecided yet. Ideally would like some light blue laces with mustard yellow tips.
Personally, I love the light blue paisley design.....
What do you guys think?

Hi everyone, I’m curious to hear from anyone who has gone through the WPLN (Workplace Literacy and Numeracy) assessment. How was your experience? Did you manage to continue your studies after completing the assessment? Diploma? Nitec? What are the possible pathways?
I'm wondering what the path forward looks like after taking the test, and whether it helped open up opportunities for further education or career development.
PS: im actually a secondary school dropout in my late twenties with only a psle cert and i have been working ever since i dropped out, im now looking for more opportunities!
