 | I posted a question about this earlier but didn't add a video to clarify. Scatters appear on my screen and then just don't die for AGES. I get they are supposed to last a long time due to them breaking up, but They don't get to that point for a really long time. Am I just doing something wrong? I don't even feel like making my attack a lot higher would help because they take forever to break up at the moment, not just one or two real world minutes.  | Five years ago, I cried after receiving an unexpected overall band score of 7.0 despite thinking I had performed terribly, and I cried once again this time because I acheived my target band yet again. Speaking and Writing are my BIGGEST nightmares, so I tried to avoid it as much as I could until I only had 2 days left (PLEASE PLEASE DON'T FOLLOW THIS SILLY ME), thus I thought they were really going to be the death of me. I had actually been putting off practicing and taking the test for a few months now because of the immense pressure from my family to achieve a band score of 9.0. Of course, I know that's beyond my ability, so I had been stressing out that I might get the same result as before. (I know 7.0 is a dream band to many, but they often belittle my achievements and gaslight me into thinking that it's worth nothing. I'm really sorry you have to read this messed up thing!) Just a couple weeks ago, I was reading through everyone's tips and suggestions here, congratulating everyone and was also abit envious of their results. Now after everything finally is over, I'm very relieved and I'm super super proud of myself. Ik ben dus op zoek naar forensen die met enige regelmaat in de trein werken. Bent u dat? Als u een aantal vragen zou willen beantwoorden zou mij dat enorm helpen. Mocht u één of meerdere vragen niet willen beantwoorden is dat geen probleem.
- Hoe vaak reist u met de trein en hoe vaak daarvan bent u ondertussen aan het werk? - Vindt u het comfortabel om te werken in de trein? - Kunt u net zo goed werken in de trein als op uw werk? Zo niet, waar denkt u dat dat aan ligt? - Komt het wel eens voor dat u geen zitplek kunt vinden en dus moet blijven staan? Wat doet u dan met het werk wat u zou willen doen? - Als er één ding of aspect is wat u graag verbeterd zou willen hebben aan werken in de trein, wat zou dat dan zijn? U hoeft niet na te denken over hoe dat dan gerealiseerd moet worden. - Maakt u voor of na uw treinreis ook nog gebruik van andere vormen van OV? Zo ja, werkt u daar ook in? Zo ja, is uw ervaring met werken daar anders en hoe verschilt dat dan?

Ok, I got rejected from Oxford (17.5% acceptance rate) for Law, but got into Edinburgh which only has an acceptance rate of 10%, which is about the same as Cornell. . .is it only because of my LNAT, that I got rejected then? Cuz I had a strong ps, and the highest grades I could get in my education board (international student)

How would snowrunner compare to Expeditions?
How much is there to do on multiplayer?
What kind of interactions can you have with your vehicles?
Are there multiplayer only jobs?
Are any of the DLC considered necessary, do both players need the DLC?

Hi, I'm curious about others' thoughts on timelines and parallel realities. Here's my understanding (that's stretching it a bit, I'm not sure I can claim I understand it lol):
Our reality has its own timeline, while the multiverse consists of infinite parallel realities, each with their own timelines.
Considering there's an infinite amount of parallel realities, some universes could be identical but on a different time (year) than ours. This could potentially make John Titor-style time travel possible (by "simply" traveling to a different parallel reality).
The "grandfather paradox" could then be resolved since you travel to a parallel reality and altering events there, causing a divergence there but not here (in your original reality). You'd be alright, but the "you" in that reality would never be born, as you prevented that (And also assuming that the reality you travel to is only almost identical to your own, with the exception that there isn't any other "you'ses" in other future parallel realities having done the same to your reality as you do to to that other reality (the one with your grandfather as a young boy, for example)).
But Bashar's filmstrip analogy suggests that the "timeline parallel reality" might be the same as any other parallel reality in the multiverse. He also mentioned changing one's past is possible. And if you do, you wouldn't notice it since that past would (from your perspective) "always" have been your past. I can in principle understand that (after all, I love time travel movies lol). But what I can't understand is how that could be possible IRL, ofc. For one, now the "grandfather paradox" is back to being a paradox again!
I haven't considered soul/oversoul implications in this discussion, and I'm not sure that would change things, at least not on a "practical" level (if that can be said about time traveling lol)
