Me ( f23) . Him ( m23) met online, dated from July, had a fight in August. After a month of no talking he said he wanted to date again because he likes me. I agreed.
But from September to November he is always busy. He only made time to see me once after work around 11pm( I turned down because it was too late).
I know him being busy is not an excuse because 1. He promised me many times it is not an excuse and he gets mad one time when I asked him” are you stringing me along ?” , even on our dates back in July and August he postponed work to see me, and on his birthday he worked til 1 am and only ordered a burger to eat.
Yesterday I asked him are you not free the entire December then? He said not sure, probably not free.
I am confused as he wanted to date me and he promised it is not an excuse. But we don’t even talk much on the phone, and we don’t get to see each other often.
I really liked him, but should I wait til January?

Mga main character natin: - Kuya (wala na akong ibang kapatid) - Sister in law (asawa ng kuya ko) - Mother (single) - Tita (younger sister ng mama ko) - Yours truly (OP)
So may plano talaga yung kuya ko mag-invest sa restaurant. and yung kasosyo nya is yung ate ng SIL ko na nasa abroad. In fact pinasama nya ako mag-ocular. Pero won't say the type, baka malaman sila.
Suddenly nakialam si SIL kasi gusto raw nya ng share sa resto so my brother gave in but not without issues sa funding. It's complicated pero at that point nag pull out na yung kuya ko and naging supportive na lang sa upcoming resto kahit madalas sila nag-aaway. It's been going on for months na rin to the point umuwi na si hipag sa probinsya and kasama nya yung mga anak nila during the summer break.
Pero at the moment civil na sila mag-asawa at full force naman sila sa birthday celebration ko. Pero yung tita ko naman, ayaw sumama sa birthday kasi ayaw raw makita si SIL kasi sinisiraan daw sya nito kasama yung mama namin. At the same time, di naman ata ako dinadamay sa away ng mag-asawa. Pero napilit ko rin yung tita ko sumama kahit di sila mag-usap and successful naman. Si SIL naman, civil kami pero feel ko nakikiplastikan lang sya sakin lalo na kung nag-aaway sila mag-asawa.
Fast forward to a few days after, reregaluhan ako ng mama ko ng laptop of my choice so sinamahan ako ng kuya ko para bumili. Before that, kumain muna kami and nakwento nya may grand opening daw yung resto ni SIL and invited daw ako. So naturally, chineck ko rin sa mama at tita ko kung invited din sila kasi sila yung kasama ko sa bahay and we tend to do things together. Di pa sila invited until nag-message yung hipag ko na invited daw kaming tatlo sa soft and grand opening ng resto nya, and naturally dahil sa situation, nireject nila.
Pero ako raw, pwede pa sumama pero medyo nahiya ako sa kanila. Pero baka mapahiya rin yung kuya ko at magtataka bakit sya lang sa side nya yung kasama. Obviously sasama yung mga kamag-anak ni SIL at luluwas sila mula sa probinsya nila pa-Maynila para sa grand opening; di lang ako sure sa ate nya kung uuwi galing abroad.
So yung ending, di ko alam kung aattend ako or hindi kasi parang tinaga na nila sa bato hindi sila pupunta. At ako naman wala pa akong commitment kasi medyo busy pa rin sa finals sa uni namin. Early 20s na ako so I should be old enough to decide for myself pero medyo natatakot ako sa baka masira ko yung family unity namin sa bahay pero hindi eh, nahihirapan naman talaga ako humindi kahit saan.
So ano take nyo sa issue? 3rd party perspective will help sa decision making ko. Thanks!
