Hey there!!!
DISCLAIMER: Not super tech savvy.
I recently got a new Windows Desktop PC which I use as my Plex server. I lose remote access every time the IP address changes.
I would like to assign a Static IP to the Plex server like I had before but for some reason can't figure it out this time. Every time I assign the PC to an IP on the machine itself it loses the internet connection and every time I try to assign via the WAN settings on the router it completely wipes out the internet for the whole house. I thought I assigned the IP to a MAC address but it doesn't let me on the router anywhere that I can find.
My router is Technicolor CGA4236 and I'm running Windows 11 with an Ethernet connection to the router.
TIA! I'm ready to lose my mind since I've set it up before and now I can't.

I have an orange pi 3b 8gb ram v1.1.1 with 256gb emmc. I turned it off once to attach a fan to the pin header and now it won't boot. Here is what I tried and failed : 1. Different images with different kernel versions (official ones, armbian, Ubuntu rockchip, dietpi) 2. Connected UART ttl to the debug header, but could not get any output on putty. 3. Tried the rk tool and followed the steps in the manual and I get device could not be found error.
The board's red LED is turned on solid and nothing else. With some SDcard images the ethernet keeps blinking green, but noting is shown on the connected screen (even the orange pi logo) .
Did I brick my orange pi?

Tengo el telefono mencionado hace como 3 años y le he dado duro jugando CoDm y Clash Royale, entre otros. Además cuenta con carga rápida de 120W.
El otro día dejó de cargar, y como tan ignorante no soy intuí que la entrada ya había acumulado suficiente polvo y peluzas y necesitaba limpieza. Lo limpié yo mismo y nada cambió.
Lo llevé a limpiar y nada, lo lleve a que le cambiaran la entrada y aun así nada. Segun ellos puede ser "la placa"...
Alguien se le ocurre como salvarlo o debería aprovechar el Black Friday? Lo malo es que perdería whatspp y toda app que requiera autorización desde ese dispositivo.

Meine Freundin hat ein Problem mit ihrem Bafög, ich hab leider 0 Ahnung davon, weil ich Unterhalt kriege, deshalb frag ich mal hier.
Situation ist wie folgt: Sie hat letztes Jahr (WiSe 23) zum ersten mal Bafög beantragt, das hat auch funktioniert, jedoch hat das gedauert, sprich erst im Januar kam Geld, dann aber fuer mehrere Monate direkt.
Nun hat sie ihren Folgeantrag fristgerecht 2 Monate vor Ablauf des BWZ gestellt, aber es gab immer wieder Probleme weil Dinge vom Vater oder der Mutter fehlten, vor etwa einem Monat also Ende Oktober, war dann alles da, dachten wir, sagte uns das Amt.
Heute kommt eine Mail, dass eine halbe Seite der Lohnsteuererklärung ihres Vaters fehlen würde und dementsprechend diesen Monat wieder nichts gezahlt wird.
Das Resultat aus der Geschichte ist, dass Sie seit dem 30.09 kein Geld mehr vom Bafög Amt bekommen hat, Sie lebt also vom Ersparten und Kindergeld und die Miete muss von meiner Mom vorgestreckt werden etc.
Da ich keine Ahnung habe wie das ganze funktioniert mitm Bafög und was man in so ner Situation tun kann, dachte ich frag ich mal hier.
Also was können wir tun? Kann man sich irgendwie etwas vorauszahlen lassen?
Kann doch nicht sein, dass Sie 3 Monate lang ihre Miete nicht zahlen kann und durch ihre Ersparnisse brennen muss...

Hola gente! Resumo así nomas, soy un orgulloso Tucumán o que ama la provincia y la ciudad. Tengo hasta tatuada la casa histórica y un sanguche de milanesa jajaja! Cuestión, estoy de novio con una inglesa y vamos a ir a Tucumán a visitar a mi familia y a que conozca. En principio vamos en enero/febrero. Estoy haciendo una lista de cosas donde tenemos que ir (tafi, mollar, los senderos del cerro, ciudad universitaria, etc) y cosas que hacer (sanguche de milanesa, panchuque, achilata, etc)
