2024.11.29 12:30 Mezutelni Helldivers 2 bad performance
Hello, I'm playing on RX 6900XT and Ryzen 7 5700X with 32GB of 3600MhZ RAM, yet when I start helldivers 2 and load into tutorial, my FPS drops to ~35 on medium (game set my graphics to Ultra at first). On youtube I can see that with this GPU and better CPU people are easily able to play on 4k on High.
I'm playing on 2,5k display on Arch + hyprland.
I tried several proton versions, Experimental, GE and default one - nothing changes.
I'm on newset ZEN kernel, newest MESA from Arch repos etc. I DON'T see similar issues with other games (cs2, Horizon Forbidden West, Spiderman etc.) which makes me believe it's HD2 problem.
I've noticed that with 100% GPU usage, my TDP is only 150W My CPU doesn't seem to be bottlenecking it, because not even one core is 100% https://imgur.com/a/TTAgSpa
As of my launch command it's mangohud gamemoderun %command% --use-d3d11 -USEALLAVAILABLECORES
but issue is also present with default launch option (nothing in it)
What may be the issue? Is it maybe some known issue which requires specific fix, or that's something else? I've never used gamescope, but maybe it's needed here?
I would appreciate any help

2024.11.29 12:30 No-Batteries Is the beta noob friendly for a computer hobbyist?
I'm very inexperienced when it comes to NAS capabilities: currently running a qnap NAS low end model that couldnt transcode a Plex video, haven't been inspired to use it for anything more. So I've setup Plex on my desktop and the 2 bay nas holds 2 4tb HDD in raid(?1) which isn't enough space
I want to build a Nas out of old PC parts and maybe some new 8tb X3 HDD raid 5 that can run as a server transcode videos for the tvs. Is hexos noob friendly enough or are the bugs prohibitive enough to say wait another year?
What are y'all wanting to run on this software? I hear its a layer on truNAS, would you dual boot for windows games if you ever wanted to use it for a LAN party? Could it replace google photos - facial recognition/Sorting is too convenient not to have.
Not so quietly excited to jump in, but worried about my lack of diagnostic skills

Be wary of your sLoan transactions. My best friend's sLoan was hacked and she's being asked to pay 89k php for transactions she didn't make. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR APP REGULARLY.
I saw another post about it here dated 3mos ago that the OP deleted because everyone else bullied them, na si OP din daw mismo gumawa nun para lang mag cash out. But I know my bestfriend for 7 years already and she's so well off, she won't be needing any loans from anywhere, plus she never uses any similar stuff like credit cards because she doesn't like the idea of having loans. She doesn't even use shopee that much kasi nga kaya nya naman bilhin sa malls regardless of the price 😭
BUT SHE GOT HACKED because of a feature SHE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW EXISTED IN THE FIRST PLACE and shopee is demanding her of her payment of transactions SHE DIDN'T MAKE. Ambagal pa ng customer service nila.
This is the weirdest part, sLoan is renowned for it's multiple authentication for verification purposes, pero panong nangyaring hindi nagssend ng OTP sa sim ng friend ko and nag push through ang transactions???? Kaya rin tumaas ng 89k kasi nga HINDI NAMAN NIYA ALAM NA GANUN NA NANGYAYARI SA ACCOUNT NYA!
BE WARY.

So I got the DIVI LIFETIME + PRO SERVICES, probably due to fomo but there is a 30 day guarantee. the one worth $197 and then I got the popup for free.
I just want to know if it’s worth it. If it is what other things should I get when it comes to the plugins? 😅
I got Hostinger for hosting since they were cheaper than siteground and offered more stuff like the free domain, ai, and I’ve also used it with no problems before.
i do web design and branding, a bit new to it as well but getting the hang of everything. i plan to learn css as well.
