My opinion on The Party Never Ends

2024.11.29 13:30 Designer_Front_9906 My opinion on The Party Never Ends

This album is pretty decent for the average listener and fans who do not listen to leaks.
However almost 5 years after Juice’s unfortunate death, he isn’t in a lot of people’s rotation outside of his core fan base.
This album is not focused on the diehard fans, it’s focused on everyone, which is a bad thing for an album that’s been teased for 3 years.
This should’ve been a send off, hype album containing fans’ favourite and most wanted songs, and to also show off the hype, upbeat side of his music to the world.
Instead we got a 18 song (including an intro and interlude) that looks as if it could’ve been thrown together in 30 minutes.
The Pre-Party did exactly what was needed, 2 unleaked grails alongside 2 fan favourite leaks.
Now we end up with an album no real theme and songs from all eras. There is no way that Juice would’ve wanted these GBGR and WOD throwaways to ever be released.
Bringing Benny in to take care of this album is probably the biggest mistake the label could’ve made, yes they were kind of friends but Max knew exactly what Juice’s mindset was throughout 2019. He was in the studio for a good portion of the music he recorded that year. It’s not possible to understand what Juice would’ve wanted, but if there was one person who knew the most it was Max Lord.
This album should’ve been a send off, to show everyone how talented Juice really was.
Kind of crazy to think that this is the end, no more albums. Hope you’re all blessed. LLJW.

2024.11.29 13:30 Familiar_Ground_162 What color(s) can I use with this burgundy?

What color(s) can I use with this burgundy? I was given this amazing soft yarn by a coworker. Just 1 skein and a color I really hate. The photo isn't the best, sorry. It's a light burgundy/dark burgundy speckled yarn.
I searched and found the same brand, and what I think is the same type of yarn. These are the colors that are available. I'm thinking of making a striped shawl. What 1 or 2 colors can I add to this to make it a less annoying color for me.
(I think it's just school uniform trauma from decades ago. I've have hated burgundy since way back then)

2024.11.29 13:30 iambenking93 Unholy death knights, help me understand how it works

Hey y'all, my alt is an Unholy DK. I have done some 10s with guides so I have a 639 2hander and 622 gear overall. I am comfortable playing DKs in general having played frost previously but I am struggling to understand how Unholy works.
I am following Hekili and am doing decent enough damage, up to 3/4 mil on big packs and anywhere from 1.3-1.5 over a whole dungeon. The issue is I cannot get my head around how it works without the hand holding of Hekili, I feel like without the add-on I would have no idea how to press the buttons in the right order as there doesn't seem to be a set pattern to reapply dots, the add-on seems to do it randomly although I appreciate it cannot be random. I seem to be using Death Coil to fill, and scourge strike to do aoe damage and bust diseases when in my D+D but I don't understand why Hekili is choosing certain spells.
Am I missing something? Do I need certain weak auras to track diseases or something? How does one track diseases on multiple mobs in AoE situations?

2024.11.29 13:30 BukHunt Apple repair - On hold: Part on order

I checked the status of my Macbook Pro repair and it says it is on hold because a part needs to be ordered to complete the repair.
I’d assume a repair center would have parts in stock. It’s in because the spacebar doesn’t press anymore (stuck)
For Anyone that experienced same status, how long did it take for the part to arrive / repair to complete?
Appreciate the info!

2024.11.29 13:30 reactasaurus Adaptive Lighting and Scenes

In short, my Adaptive Lighting integration is messing with my scenes.
- All my bulbs are IKEA Tradfri bulbs, white spectrum. - I have different lights set up under different integration entries in Adaptive Lighting.
The changes I have made for each entry is as follows:
Interval 20 Transition 0 Min Brightness 70 Min Temp 3000 Max Temp 4000 Detect Non_HA TRUE Separate Turn On TRUE Send split delay 2
(The only differences between light groups is the brightness and the temp colour.)
Despite this, I am still finding that Adaptive Lighting is interfering after scenes are set.
If I toggle the adaptive lighting integration entries off, the scenes set perfectly with no issues, so I believe I have isolated the issue to the Adaptive Lighting integration.
As a workaround, I have tried running an automation that sets the scene multiple times. This works some of the time, but some lights still get 'left behind'.
As a second workaround, I tried having an automation:
- turn adaptive lighting toggle off for different groups of lights, then - set the scene, then - turn the adaptive lighting toggles back on
However, Adaptive Lighting seems to pick back up immediately - seemingly not needing a turn-on signal.
I'm a bit lost with what I'm missing here? Any ideas?

2024.11.29 13:30 markoj22 CBD Shows Promise in Treatment of Endometriosis, Say Leading Women’s Health Researchers

Researchers at the University of Edinburgh say CBD is a “promising therapeutic agent” due to its varying effects on the body.
Researchers from the Centre for Reproductive Health at the University of Edinburgh have co-authored a new review paper highlighting the potential of CBD in the treatment of endometriosis. The new paper, published in the top-ranking journal Trends in Pharmacological Science (TIPS), finds that CBD is a “promising therapeutic agent” due to its varying effects on the body.
Endometriosis is a chronic inflammatory condition in which cells similar to those in the lining of the uterus are found elsewhere in the body. Alongside debilitating pain during periods and sex, it can affect bowel movements, urination, bloating, nausea, fatigue, and sometimes depression, anxiety, and infertility. There is currently no cure and limited treatment options, which often come with their own debilitating side-effects.
Previous research30808-4/abstract) has highlighted a high prevalence of medicinal cannabis use among endometriosis patients, with one recent European study finding it had a “significant impact on wellbeing and quality of life”.
Elsewhere, studies have suggested that the endocannabinoid system (ECS) could play a role in the pathology of the condition itself, and therefore cannabinoids may have potential as a new treatment option.
CBD is a “promising therapeutic agent for endometriosis” Researchers evaluated data from patient samples and animal studies, summarising information on currently available CBD-containing products, their pharmacokinetics and use in ongoing clinical trials in endometriosis and other pain conditions.
They focused on the pathophysiology of endometriosis, highlighting processes implicated in the formation and growth of lesions, including pathways where CBD has demonstrated activity.
The paper highlights how CBD acts on a number of molecular targets implicated in the pathogenesis of endometriosis and its associated symptoms. However, further work is needed, they say, to better understand which of the different mechanisms of action of CBD are most important in regulating endometriosis symptoms.
Feedback from patients also suggests CBD products are “well tolerated” with “positive impacts on pain, as well as common comorbid symptoms, such as gastrointestinal disturbances, mood disorders, and poor sleep”.
Based on this, the researchers conclude that CBD is a “promising therapeutic agent for endometriosis” because it has “analgesic, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, anti-angiogenic, antiproliferative, and neuroprotective effects”.
They state: “We believe that the balance of evidence from real-world data and trials in other conditions suggest that CBD could be a safe and effective treatment for endometriosis. However, we still lack the definitive high-quality evidence of patient benefit (or side effects), which can only be obtained from well-designed placebo-controlled RCTs. It is hoped that this may be resolved in the next 2–3 years when results of current and planned trials are published.”
A step closer to clinical trials The study was co-authored by Dr Lucy Whitaker, Professor Andrew Horne and Professor Philippa Saunders of the University of Edinburgh, along with Professor Clive Page and Charles Morgan, chairman of Ananda Developments, a company focused on the development of CBD-based therapies for complex inflammatory conditions.
Ananda says this research takes the company a step closer to upcoming clinical trials on its CBD-based oil formulation in the treatment of endometriosis with the University of Edinburgh, for which it has received NHS funding.
Commenting on the publication of the study, Morgan said in an announcement to investors: ‘The potential of CBD as a safe, efficacious and cost-effective treatment for the symptoms of endometriosis is compelling, and we are encouraged by this recognition in the publication of this review of the data in such a prestigious journal as Trends in Pharmacological Science. We look forward to working with investigators at the University of Edinburgh as they test this hypothesis in the upcoming ENDOCAN clinical trial.“Our involvement with this research is part of Ananda’s commitment to developing a licensed CBD-based medicine, available on the NHS, for the treatment of the symptoms of endometriosis, a condition which affects 10% of women globally.”
