Basically, my first few play throughs of the first level (I had to redo it a bunch due to difficulties) and didn’t see the fish until probably the fourth play through. My fourth, by the way, was after I beat the game. So I already saw fanart of Connor and the fish, and was SUPER confused. I just wanted to know if I was the only one, lol.

Недавно познакомился с очень классным человеком, и мне прям вот настолько он понравился, что решил попробовать развить наши отношения на новый уровень. До недавнего времени все было просто замечательно. Лично я никаких проблем или так называемых "Ред флагов" не замечал, даже наоборот, все было ну вот прям как то слишком идеально для меня неудачника. И, оказалось, не зря я так думал. Неделю назад решаю написать, чтобы просто поболтать, но, вместо ответа, я дожидаюсь блокировки. Причем без единого слова перед этим( Только лишь позже с помощью друга, который переслал ему мой список вопросов, я смог узнать, что у него случились какие то проблемы, и он "не хотел меня вовлекать в них", после чего, друга тоже заблокировал. Хоть друзей у меня много, но я понял, что наверное лучше его не донимать, но этот вопрос мне все не даёт покоя, поэтому решил поинтересоваться здесь. Так почему, почему так произошло ? Что вообще могло такого произойти в жизни человека? Я не требую прям точных ответов. Просто, вдруг кто то был в похожей ситуации или может выдвинуть интересное предположение. В общем, заранее всех благодарю за ответы, спасибо, что уделили внимание :3

2024.11.29 13:20 Zeddexs I keep having the same dream of shooting myself
I've had it twice in the last 3ish weeks. Can't figure out why, it's always the same dream in different variations. Knowing me I'll keep having it in more variations.
The first time the dream started in the bathroom after I was done showering, it didn't happen in the dream but I shot myself 3x think it was shoulder and stomach. I'm just sitting there waiting to bleed out. I move within the bathroom leaving puddles of blood then as time goes on I start feeling weaker till dream me goes to sleep. I'm calm, peaceful while it's going on
This time same everything, starts off in the bathroom already having shot myself, everythings the same except this time there's that tiny bit of "i shouldn't have done that" but still calm then oh well, dream goes on the same. Move within the bathroom, I text my friend "i enjoyed being your friend" i text my parents my email logins and tell them to reset my passwords then someone opens the door, takes a look at the pools of blood and I wake up
I've been up since 4 trying to decide if I want this on my search results lmao people usually dream of the same thing but in the head and people say it means the death of old you or guilt/shame but I really don't think that's the case. I've been in a similar situation a few years back, the death part and it felt similar. I had just given up and was at peace with the situation, happy even. Dunno. Thoughts?

A year or two ago there were some posts on this subreddit by aspiring developers claiming that Stormworks code is buggy and the devs incompetent (I’m not going to weigh in on that, though they aren’t perfect) and claiming that they would be developing their own Stormworks clone and promised that demos would be available within a year or so.
My question is, has anyone seen any updates or progress on any of these Stormworks clones? I am interested to see how alternatives to Stormworks could work and what improvements/differences there are between them and the original product.

I’m currently doing my PhD in aquatic ecology and I work with invertebrates. I think this past summer I realized I do not want to go into academia because the work-life balance seems terrible. I’m feeling super lost.
I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions about what types of industry jobs you can get after a PhD in ecology? Is a PhD worth it in those positions in terms of getting a leg up or do they close doors? And do you have any general advice on how to break into industry?
