Hi, my parents is looking to digitize a bunch of old negatives that they have from back when they were a photographers. I see there are a bunch of options on how to do this and wanted to see what people would recommend. I see people say using a DSLR is best but I’m not sure if my parents DSLR (Nikon D40) is good enough as it is fairly old. Would be sufficient what addition equipment/ lenses would be required/recommend. If not what alternative solutions would be recommended? I want to get them the setup as a Christmas gift but am unsure what I would buy. Thank you.

I'm confused between 5w4, 5w6 and 6w5 (intp). Some tests say 5w4 because I'm introspective (analyze logically my emotions) and can be artistic, some that I'm 5w6 because I'm also a very anxious person and also on the spectrum, and some that I'm 6w5 when the questions are more about anxiety. Before I started my medication the tests would also say 4w5 (depression). I'm very introverted (so not 6?) and I really care about my interests (theories etc).

Como dizem os americanos: "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me" ou, abrasileirando, "errar é humano, mas repetir o erro é burrice". Enfim, estou tentando não repetir o erro para não me sentir burro novamente no futuro.
Acumulei meu patrimônio basicamente durante o governo Dilma, quando fui trabalhar no exterior. Na época, por ganhar em dólares, achava que era a pessoa mais esperta do mundo ao, religiosamente, enviar todo o meu salário para o Brasil e comprar ações, FIIs e títulos públicos. Afinal, o dólar estava nas alturas, valendo incríveis R$3,16! Títulos IPCA+7,5%, FIIs no chão, bolsa barata... soa familiar? Não tinha erro: parecia uma oportunidade única de repatriar moeda forte e lucrar com a crise "passageira".
Quase 10 anos depois, nem preciso dizer qual foi o resultado. Na verdade, prefiro nem fazer as contas de quanto teria rendido caso tivesse feito o básico e deixado o dinheiro em moeda forte, investindo em um simples ETF no mercado americano. Não existe investimento no Brasil que compense o risco, o estresse, a incerteza e a variação cambial. Nada justifica converter moeda forte para reais e investir nesse país.
Acontece que, às vezes, a gente acerta. Naquela época, decidi támbem comprar BTC e, por pura sorte, segurei tudo até hoje. Com isso, a parcela do meu portfólio nesse ativo de risco ficou tão elevada que agora preciso me desfazer de parte dele para não correr o risco de acabar de mãos abanando caso "dê ruim". Venho fazendo vendas mensais com o intuito de reduzir essa posição, mas, obviamente, não vou zerar. Seria horrível saber que um dia tive o bilhete premiado da loteria nas mãos e decidi me desfazer dele.
No entanto, ao vender parte dos BTCs, preciso realocar esses recursos em algum outro lugar. E, mais uma vez, surge a tentação de ser o “espertão” e aproveitar a "oportunidade" que o Brasil parece oferecer. Já que mais uma vez o dólar está nas alturas, Títulos a quase IPCA+7,5%, FIIs no chão, bolsa barata..,
Felizmente, acho que aprendi a lição. Vou resistir à tentação de acreditar que estamos diante de mais um "momento único de oportunidade". Ainda mais porque, se o Brasil já está assim enquanto o mundo está em alta, imagine quando a próxima crise mundial chegar? Para mim, chega. "Errar é humano, mas repetir o erro é burrice."

I am a UK sole trader and faced with not having hard copy letters as I work in electronic to save trees. Does anyone know if there are any documents you can download from HMRC to prove you are not untrustworthy. I tried sending a tax return but this even though it is generated by HMRC is not supported. To say I am peed off at Amazon is an understatement. Anyone thinking of starting seriously don't bother I wish I had not but I am stuck for the moment. Will sell out of product and leave. What a serious joke their support is. I can't rely on Indian but holes to decide my business success for me.
