The only way to get relevant results is to change the request language to match the desired region, which is inconvenient to do every time. Moreover, it doesn't seem to gather information from across the entire internet but instead limits itself to specific locations, as mentioned. Will this issue be addressed in the next updates?

I have a Kenwood AT-250 tuner. In the instruction manual it says that it can tune antennas with between 20 and 150 ohms impedance, or about 2.5:1 SWR. It can also switch between up to 4 different antennas. The very modest tuning capability and the antenna switch lead me to believe that this was not designed for use with multi band antennas, but rather to tune a resonant antenna for use in different parts of the band. Am I correct in this assumption? If not, what multiband antennas would someone have used with this tuner? Anything I can build? I'm interested in building a multiband wire antenna that would work with it.

My 8 yo lab. Cuddling this morning I noticed a lump under his skin about 1/2 the size of my pinkie finger (size of those mini carrots you buy at the store,on the small size). It’s about upper shoulder not near the throat. On the side.
I’ll look at it later more (5am right now)
it’s right above the shoulder Blade.
It’s early and I need to sleep. Just tossing it out there if someone has a guess. (Just asking the question will help me get a bit more sleep.)
No pain, no issue with mobility.

In the market for a new smart watch, and highly considering making the jump from Apple to Garmin. I’ve had Apple Watches for the past 8 years or so, although I did use a Forerunner 935 as my running watch for a while. I’m looking for a wear all day watch now though.
I’m mostly a cyclist and runner, but now want to get into triathlon, so the multi sport feature is a must. Also use Garmin for my cycling so the data share feature (record on my watch but share to bike computer) is big. Just not sure if the 965 is the way to go or spring for more features with the Fenix series since it’s replacing my Apple Watch. I know I won’t get the same Apple integration, but the voice commands would be nice. As far as I know I still can’t use the watch to send text messages or has that changed? Any other factors I’m overlooking?

This is my first time using a forum for technical support, so please bear with me if I inadvertently make any faux pas.
I’m the lead developer of a medical device project, currently tasked with developing the PC UI. I also developed the embedded software (this might be relevant later if changing the data structure format in the embedded code becomes necessary).
This is my first time tackling a real-time signal processing project for PC software, and I’d greatly appreciate advice from experienced professionals.
Project Details: I’m receiving data from the device’s ADC(s) in the following format: [Handshake + Channel Status + Timestamp + Payload].
Here’s how I process this data using threads in C#:
- Thread 1: Receives and buffers raw data.
- Thread 2: Verifies the data package, removes headers, and extracts payloads.
- Thread 3: Passes the processed data to the plotting library.
- Separate Timer: Renders the plot at a fixed frame rate.
Current Performance and Bottleneck: I’m running the system at 85kHz / 40 FPS, and everything works well. However, when I try to:
- Increase the ADC’s speed, rendering cannot keep up.
- Decrease the render timer interval (to improve FPS), rendering performance drops drastically.
I’m currently using an older version of ScottPlot, which lacks
PlotSignalConst, and I use PlotSignal. While ScottPlot works for basic tasks, I’ve been advised (via ChatGPT mainly) that it’s not ideal for my specific requirements.What I’m Looking For: I’m searching for a plotting library that meets the following requirements:
- Compatibility with Windows Forms:
- I want to avoid redesigning the entire UI, so the library must integrate well with Windows Forms, like ScottPlot does.
- Native Support for Interleaved Data:
- My data format is interleaved ([CH1, CH2, CH1, CH2...]). Preprocessing the data to separate channels manually is not ideal and conflicts with my bulk-processing approach.
- Performance for High Data Rates:
- Single Channel: 300kHz @ 60 FPS render.
- Multi-Channel: 75kHz per channel (4 channels) @ 60 FPS render.
- Cost:
- Ideally free and usable without licensing restrictions, but I’m open to paid solutions if absolutely necessary.
Closing Notes: I’d love to hear from anyone who has dealt with similar high-performance real-time plotting tasks or can recommend a suitable library for my needs.
