Just installed 2x 7900 XTX on a ryzen am5 motherboard in Ubuntu 24.04. And here just some results. First model which I tried was qwen2.5:72b and it fits 96% in gpu and 4% goes to CPU. So it is pretty much bottlenecked, but usable for testing.Now I run qwen2.5-coder:32b-instruct-q8_0 and it fits all in VRAM. Both GPUs having vram used about 70%. When I use Ollama and set Environment="OLLAMA_NUM_PARALLEL=3" the memory usage increases a little. When running multiple prompts same time, the power usage goes about 550W total system usage from the wall.The motherboard supports 2x 8x pcie 4.0 slots to CPU. I have 1000W Psu which looks like to handle the load so far.
Is there any software which would use the both cards simultaneously, increasing the inference speed? Now I think each gpu is used one by one.

2024.11.29 13:27 jcp42877 LG Partner Store stopped the free soundbar even though it stated was good until Dec 2nd

After getting my own TV and soundbar, my buddy was in the market for a couple new TVs and has PArtner Store access like me. We looked just the other day, and he was set on 2 C4 65"s both with free S80TRs. He didn't place the order right away because we noticed it was one TV+free soundbar per account, so he was waiting until he could get his wife to make an account too (also military) to do a duplicate order.
We both looked at the deal, and it showed good until Dec 2nd. Now, he tells me that this deal is no longer offered and the best they have is free wall mounting or TV+soundbar @ 50% off. Anyone found a way to get around this? Seems like all the deals I was seeing when I bought my G4 have pretty much dried up, and despite being Black Friday proper today, nothing is a banger deal, comparatively.
